Carapacians are a species from the webcomic Homestuck, they are based of pawns from chess and are created through cloning in science facilities in an asteroid belt called the veil. The black Carapacians are originally from the purple planet of Derse and the white Carapacians are originally from the golden planet of Prospit. The two species are engaged in a massive battle for the Battlefield of Skaia, a dormant crucible of unlimited creative potential. The Carapacians of Prospit try to protect the planet whilst the forces of Derse covet it's destruction. As all of these elements are part of a game (called Sburb) the Dersites are always destined to win until the players arrive and mess with the system. Carapacians have a thick shell or carapace, thus the name.

It just says the name of the thing in my profile picture, he is an angry Carapacian wielding a crowbar and has been dubbed as "Angry Crowbar" by the Homestuck fans (He's not even a major character, he's in like one scene, it's weird) I'm thinking of changing my profile pic to the major character Carapacian, the Warweary Villein/Wizardly Vassal/Wayward Vagabond/Mayor of Can Town
