Someone should edit the first post to point to the new rules.

A SHORT HISTORY OF THE COUNT GAME:

The Beginning: The simplest age. Members counted up, the moderators (at the time, only global mods and administration) zeroed. It was during this era that the current all-time record, 129 was racked up, by Galedeep, J. Gryphon, and HeadInTheGalaxy. Eventually the idea to allow mods to take it into negative numbers was created, when some mods posted zeros simultaneously.
The Negative Era: Moderators were given the power to take the numbers down into the negatives, which could only be cancelled out one number at a time. This era came to an end after the addition of the local moderators, Musician, Lily, Osu, and J. Gryphon, who made things too biased in favor of the moderation.
The Dead Number Era: Members were given the power to zero out negative numbers. Early on, the moderators achieved a record of -67, and the members eventually hit 52, but eventually this era became characterized by a constant series of 1s, 0s, and -1s. This finally led to...
The Selective Zero Era: The rules were changed so that a team, taking things in one direction, chose a player from the other team, so that only that player had the ability to zero it out. Other members must do it one at a time, as in the Negative Era. This era saw the setting of a new moderator record by Matthias, Tagg, J. Gryphon, and Lady Shael, and will hopefully be the most interesting one yet.

And so the history stands.

Negative eighty-nine.

Captain Tammo

"Cowards die a thousand times, a warrior only dies once. The spirits of all you have slain are watching you, Vilu Daskar, and they will rest in peace now that your time has come. You must die as you have lived, a coward to the last!" -Luke the warrior

No, no, no.

Check page 164; we changed the rules. Right now only Galedeep can zero out negative numbers.

Negative ninety-one, assuming Tammo's last post was -90. ;)
