The Avengers are no more violent or suggestive than the CA movies.

You could watch the Avengers without seeing some of the other films. It won't all make great sense. But I've seen every marvel movie except the Thor and Doctor Strange movies, and I fully grasp what's going on. Watching Iron Man would greatly help you, as at least 4 characters from those films appear in the first Avengers.

But if you have enough background knowledge, you should be ok with just the CA movies and Avengers.
Thank you!!  That's just what I needed to know. :)

On that note, has anyone seen the trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming? It looks so good! Tom Holland is the perfect Peter Parker.
Aye. It's a much younger casting than any of the others, which is pretty good considering how young Peter started as Spiderman.

I have now seen The Avengers.  On VidAngel, so we could cut out the iffy stuff.

What'd you think?
(What did it cut out? I don't really remember anything iffy in Avengers)

That Lego Death Star tho.

That part ripped my soul out after wanting that thing for ages just to see it get destroyed in a Spiserman trailer, something from my distant past as well.
I want the world of Tolkien,
The message of Lewis;
The adventure of Jacques,
And the heart of Milne.
But I want the originality of me.

It wasn't what I expected, but it was awesome nonetheless.  The fight scene with Natasha strapped to a chair was really cool.  Also the shawarma restaurant after the credits. ;D

As for what it cut out, well, my mom set the filters, so it removed language and kissing?  Although it didn't cut the flirty Pepper/Tony part with Coulson in the background, and all of us, I think, were a little uncomfortable. :P
