DOCTOR, NOT DR!

I recommend Series 3's Blink and Series 4's Midnight if you're into creepy stuff. The Series 2, two-parter The Impossible Planet and The Satan Pit are also good ones for fans of creepiness. There's a nice balance of creepiness and emotion in the Series 4 two-parter Silence in the Library and Forest of the Dead. And of course we can't forget Series 1's two-parter The Empty Child and The Doctor Dances.

For non-creepy stuff, Series 1's Dalek is good for delving into the Doctor's psyche, as is Father's Day for different reasons. The Rings of Akhaten from Series 6 is a nice emotional one. And Series 2's School Reunion for some nice banter. The Series 4 two-parter The Sontaran Strategem and The Poison Sky has some nice action and the episode that directly follows, The Doctor's Daughter is very emotional. And if you're into murder mysteries The Unicorn and the Wasp from Series 4 is about the Doctor and Donna solving a murder with Agatha Christie.

I'm not sure how one can find Rose (Series 1, episode 1) boring though.

Of course, this is talking about the revived series. The original is a whole different ballgame.

No new Doctor Who this year. Series 10 comes out in 2017. It's very aggravating.

I thought Dr. Who was boring. I got about ten episodes in and I was just clicking off the episodes halfway in. So in desperation I just started watching random episodes in later seasons hoping it would get better, but I just kept getting disappointed.

At the time I just got into way better shows so I just left off watching the Dr. and watched Numbers instead.
I thought so too at first when I heard of it. Now I just don't have any time to watch it :P

Numbers...is one of the best TV shows to grace this planet. ;D
Dreams, dreams are untapped and writhing. How much more real are dreams than that paltry existence which we now call reality? How shall we ascend to that which humanity is destined? By mastering the dreamworld of course. That is how, my pupils, that is how.

I totally agree, it is a great show. It ranks up there with Psych and Merlin.

You thought a show about a time-travelling alien who runs around fighting monsters and fixing things and changes his face instead of dying would be boring?

Boring to me. I'm more of an outdoors person - I would rather be outside earning money or working on stuff so It takes alot to get me hooked on a movie. Sci-fi really isnt my thing either.
