Redwall is good but so is Welkin weasels, I would recommend both.

I would definitely recommend Welkin Weasels. I've only read the first three, but they're amazing, trust me. The Foxes of Firstdark (or Hunter's Moon if you live in the UK) might be a little mature, depending on the person, but it's still great - easily one of my favorites.
