I love these guys.

Rakkety Tam MacBurl, Wild Doogy Plumm, Laird Bosie McScutta o' Bowlaynee, Sister Setiva, Wild King McPhearsome, the falcons of Lord MacTalon, and others.
All were highlanders, or at least were known for their Northern accent.
I think their names are totally brilliant, and in addition fit wonderfully into the books. Also, they're all just awesome beasts.

Quite. It seems that the harsh weather and terrain of the Northlands led to the creation of many braw warriors.

Osu

Agreed and agreed. Especially Bosie, he was all kinds of awesome.

Guess the farther north you go, the fiercer the warriors get.
Redwall is always open, its tables laden, to you and any of good heart.

I'd say that goes for villains too.

No doubt. However, they can't get into too much trouble with the likes of Wild King McPhearsome protecting the land.

Wild King MacPhearsome is pretty wise too. When a small mousebabe bred as a warrior attacked his talons with a twig, he choose to give him a ride home to the mighty Abbey itself. Smart move, because Dumble really would have fought him in every sense of the word, dibbun as he was. And then he stayed to eat. But then again, who wouldn't stay at Redwall to eat?
No food as good as Abbey food, and no Abbey as good as Redwall to serve it.

Is Bucko Bigbones a highlander?

Bucko Bigbones was a Highlander, and got driven out by Ungatt Trunn seasons before the events of Lord Brocktree. He returned to the mountains of the north after the wildcat was defeated, and also took on the title of General in the Long Patrol, at Dotti's request.

I just got done reading Lord Brocktree again! I really love Bucko for some strange reason.

His relationship with Brocktree and Dotti was cool to see throughout the novel. It changed, and grew. Never really foes, they became great friends, though seperated in the end.

Captain Tammo

Tam's pretty cool 8)

Actually, he's technically a Borderer, but he fits into his topic anyway.

Love these guys, as Tagg mentioned Tam is a borderer, but if he fits in this conversation, then he's my favourite!
Received mostly negative reviews.

Tiria Wildlough

I like Sister Setiva, and Rakkety Tam. The only thing was that Tam lost his Highland accent as the story goes on, but Doogy Plumm keeps his.

Tam didn't loss his accent, he always had a Borderer accent, it was never Highlander.
