What about Rake Nightfur? He had the highland accent, but all we know for sure is that he spent some time on the high north coast with the rogue crew.

Because dang, if Rake counts, he's my favorite!

I just got done reading Lord Brocktree too. It is one of my favorite books if not my favorite. King Bucko changes some throughout the book and his relationship with Dotti (my favorite character) is very interesting.

I like the different dialects of all the different species and the highlanders is one of the most interesting ones.

King Bucko is one of the classic highlanders. He is so funny! I laughed a lot while reading Lord Brocktree.

my favourite highlander is King Bucko bigbones from Lord brocktree! And Rackety (however you spell it) Tam, he's awesome also!

I know! The contest between Dotti and Bucko was one of my favorite parts of any Redwall book. Especially the bragging contest. THAT was awesome!

I love the highland accents. The effect of a highland warrior snarling at a bad guy in his awesome accent is just too cool.
