End of the World

And I never said it would happen this year, but I said real soon.

And for everybody to know, it will not end suddenly or a giant explosion or something like that. The End will be long to come after the events start to happen. And when all is over, a few people that will be followers of God will survive the end and will have a thousand year for their descendants to live in the reign of Christ, and after that, the real end will happen and it will be more terrible than anything that ever happened. Seriously!

It will happen!

And sooner than you think!

  ...Yes.  I've been a Christian since I was 3, and have known that that's how the earth is going to end.  There's going to be the rapture, then the 7 years after that, with all of the trials and tortures that all others on this earth will have to go through, then after the 7 years, Christ will return (and all Christians know what happens after that).
  Not all may believe that that's what's going to happen, but that's my opinion.

I am, for the most part going to stay out of this, but I will put my say in and leave.

The world will end, and it could happen within the next five minutes(very, very, unlikely), or, it could happen in five billion years. However, I believe that is will have something to do with the sun. What scientists predict, is that in about five billion years, the sun will swell, engulf Mercery and Venus, and almost toast our little planet to a crisp, and kill almost all life. (Though some tardigrade may survive.) But, in five million years we'd probably of terraformed Mars or discovered other planets that can support life. While it may not be possible to get to another planet in a lifetime with current technology, scientists are developing a method to cut down the trip to Mars to about five months. Compare that to the two years it would take with current technology... So, the total destruction of the planet may not mean the end to the human race.

+1 there.  I think a lot people won't buy into the fact the end of the world will happen soon, but that shouldn't be a reason we cannot find other ways to get along and share other topics.
