Just because I don't agree with your theory dosn't mean I don't want to be not friends.

+1 there.  I think a lot people won't buy into the fact the end of the world will happen soon, but that shouldn't be a reason we cannot find other ways to get along and share other topics. :)
It's just to be sure nobody has some hard feelings.

Meh, the end of the world? Not on MY to think about list. About, how many times have they predicted it and been wrong? Like a lot. Even if the world ended on the 21st of December, God drives my car. No superstitions, rumors or magic stuff can make me change this sentance. "When the world ends, their will be no one. No one but God and the faithful ones." And this is why I'm not scared.

i agree with u MatthiasMan, no matter what we do we can not change the end of the world.
P.S. MatthiasMan if u are just 12 years old, how do u drive a car?   lol

He might just be practicing. Usually he'll get his license at 15 or 16 after he's done. And I don't believe in the Mayan Calendar but I so believe in the end of the world from the Bible.

NASA has confirmed, that on the 21, in the late afternoon, the sky will turn very dark. This phenomena is called night. :D

Something Horrifying

Hey everyone, staying out of the main topic, but I DO want to say this:

Regardless of what you believe about the prediction about the 21st, PLEASE BE CAREFUL ON THIS DAY. There are people that DO believe it, and that makes this day potentially dangerous. I don't expect it will be a big problem (I certainly hope not at least), but it still warrants caution. People that seriously believe it's the end may behave irrationally and dangerously, and I can't help but worry about this a little bit... So please stay safe, everyone!

We never know when it will happen, but it's soon. One thing I know, is that this is the last pope before the start of the end. If you want to know more, PM me.

I've been watching the science channel (Interesting stuff) and came upon a few facts concerning the end of the world. Y'all know about the dinosaurs? Died a million or so years ago? Died because of an asteroid, is a theory. Well, fairly soon, in 2029, an asteroid about a quarter size of the moon is going to pass between the moon and the Earth. And if a mathematical equation is correct, it may hit the Earth. Now, living to be only thirty would suck, so good thing scientists are going to try to mess up it's gravitational pull with hovering a satelite near it. Now, you can't make me believe that some being in the sky created everything and will someday rain destruction on us, but I'll respect your opinions and listen to rational debate and good, solid evidence.

For those that can discuss without fighting or holding a grudge, here's an interesting debate:

Do you believe in the end of the world? They say that it will happen on the 21th of December 2012. I don't believe that it will happen that day, but we are near!
No offense to absolutely anyone, but are you kidding me? I mean, they said it would end in 1500, 1990, 2000. Did it? Noooo.... Also, with the mayan calendar hooey, I can't use my pc calender to scroll all the way to 3012, but that doesn't mean it wont happen. The mayans didn't make it that far because they didn't see a need. Just because a culture's ancient doesn't mean they have mystical powers. Also, with the big asteroid crushing us theory, we'd have seen that coming YEARS (i mean like 50 or 60 years) ago, because it would be so large. And plus, only God knows the time and day the world will end.
Yeah, I do stuff sometimes.

Redwaller

Yes, I agree. But God left us signs so we could prepare ourselves. Some people made some research in the Bible and decyphered the seven trumpets of Revelation and know we vaguely know what will happen. Ifyou want, PM me and I can send you the videos of it. And it's all from the Bible! But there is some stuff in the videos that need to be talked about.

W0NWILL

I'm slightly offended, but you simply cannot site the bible to prove the bible. As for the asteroid, it doesn't have to be that large, because it would break up in the atmosphere and on impact and rain fire on us. And when we did see it, who says we can stop it?

Alright everybody, let's calm down. If you feel the need to express your opinions, simply state them and move on. Opinions are like bellybuttons, everyone has one. Each person is entitled to their own viewpoint, regardless of whether you believe it to be true or not. Keep this in mind as you post. I don't want to punish anyone this close to the holidays, but all the staff will be watching this topic closely, just to make sure things stay in line. This is your only warning! Keep things civil.
