Isobelle Carmody, an Australian fantasy writer, is my other favourite author. I love the way she writes. I don't like the speed at which she writes, though; I've been reading the Obernewtyn Chronicles since I was 10 and I'm still waiting for the last one to come out! Having said that, it is kind of nice to have grown up with the charactes.
