We can talk about other things regarding Sampetra. Like were the vermin pirates, privateers, or just soldiers? There are distinct differences and yet the vermin are like all three of them at different times in different ways

I wonder where Ublaz got those tropical lizards, were they on the island before he took over it or did he bring them there from somewhere else. I might be missing something from the book, they probably were there before him.

It was an example of how the Pure Ferrets spoke. It's a cliche German accent that's used all over the place. It's supposed to be funny. Not offensive.

Actually I don't think so. If you look at the maps, it shows Riftgard as being "Further North" You have the map but it never shows a picture of Fiftgard it shows an arrow that says "This way to Riftgard".
