 I still like javelin throwers.
The fastest way to a man's heart- Or anyone's, in fact- Is to tear a hole through their chest.

Indeed. You are as ancient as the soot that choked Pompeii into oblivion, though not quite as uncaring. - Rusvul

Just a butterfly struggling through my chrysalis.

Dreams, dreams are untapped and writhing. How much more real are dreams than that paltry existence which we now call reality? How shall we ascend to that which humanity is destined? By mastering the dreamworld of course. That is how, my pupils, that is how.

...your in Cavren Hole, not the Cellars ;D
Back on topic, unfortunately, the only thing close to a real sword I've had is a foam marauder long sword by Nerf. :P
I've seen them though, they are really cool. I sorta wish I had a roman gladiator style sword.

"Understood." Will looked at Nico. "Will you be my buddy?"
"You're a dork," Nico announced.

Gladius is a Latin 2nd declension masculine noun meaning sword. ;D

Yes, but what is the plural of Prius? Prii? Priuses?

Delthion

Well, Prius is not a Latin noun and most people that I know say Priuses so I'd go with that.

Prii sounds more sophistifunglamated.

. . . Anyways, atlatls are impressively effective.

Interesting fact: In the 1600's-1800's, I believe, it was very widely agreed that the best slashing weapon that existed was a type of saber or some such made in India.

The steel has nothing to do with it; it's the shape, weight, thickness, bevel angle, etc.

The "original" form of Damascus steel was made in India, and is called "wootz" steel. It naturally forms lines and striations in itself due to the way the steel is made from the ore. Western peoples thought it came from the city of Damascus, and there we have the name.
The Vikings probably made pattern-welded (same thing as Damascus) steel to stretch the amount of high-quality steel by joining it with iron.
