Norham was pleased to see someone so eager to go. He slung his sack over his shoulder and tied it under his arm, so he wouldn't have to carry it. He told Baypaw."Well marm, we'll have to cut around the vermin to reach the western shores, how do you suggest we do that without coming back full of arrows?"

Baypaw chuckled, already beginning to enjoy her adventure. "We'll have to run out the back, I suppose, and cut off into the jolly old woodlands. What a super wheeze, wot! Slippin' out from under their blinkin' noses to get reinforcements!"

"Well said marm, let's go."

OOC: sorry I've been away for a while, but I was visiting relations and I couldn't access the internet. On a more in - game note, we should all get a prearranged time and do an in - game strategy session.

Baypaw silently opened the east wallgate and slipped out into the woodlands, waiting for Norham to follow. It was a beautiful day, marred only by the presence of a vermin horde on the other side of Redwall. Baypaw sighed. Even from here, she could faint strains of raucous laughter from the camp. She straightened her sword belt decisively. Well, they weren't going to stay in front of the abbey much longer. Soon after she and Norham returned with Long Patrol warriors, those scum would be gone forever.

Norham caught up with the eager hare. He followed in silence.

OOC: Just to let you guys know, I probably won't be posting much for the next week- things are going to be pretty hectic for me. Baypaw can kind of go on autopilot- she'll follow Norham to Salamandastron, but I can't promise a lot of conversation.

Linda stood on her good leg and looked at Vash, "Wh-what do you know-ow ab-b-b-bout healing?"

BIC:"Not much. Only the basics like infection and band-aids and stuff. Mostly how to recognize something, not how to treat it." He said to her. Cash looked back at Linda. "You okay?" he asked, genuinely concerned.

Linda nodded awkwardly, blushing slightly, "Never bett-t-ter." she shifted slightly, "You can l-learn."

"I'm sure I can. You seem to know a lot, and I'm sure that you'll be a great teacher." He said assuringly.

Linda smiled, "Thanks," she said without stammering

"You're welcome, miss. However, I suggest we don't practice on patients." Vash said. "But your smart enough to know that." he complemented. Vash didn't notice, but he had a smile on his face as they walked.
