OOC: *shrug* No, it just means you really know what you're doing when you pick up a bow. Actually, I would much rather everyone that used/held/touched a weapon of any kind really knew what they're about. ;D
A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of woes and shattered shields, when the age of men comes crashing down! But it is not this day! This day we fight!

Quickpaw

OOC: Knowing a lot about bows seems pretty cool to me. All I know about archery weapons is pretty much how to load, how to fire, and safety.

BIC: Vash quietly slipped out the back, hoping no one had or would see him.

Thomas Barkshield

Tom heard rustling in the grass and instinctively aimed that way. It was a vermin, but it was wearing clothes like Vashs! Fearing that he was going to tell the enemy of their plans, he fired a warning shot at Vashs feet, while warning the others of his presence.

Quickpaw

Vash flinched and stopped when the arrow landed right in front of him. He followed the arrow's direction, seeing Tom on the wall. He gave him a look that said 'What in God's name is wrong with you?!'.
I LOVE 80's music.

Thomas Barkshield

"What are you doing down there!" He said in a quiet shout.

Quickpaw

Vash pointed at himself with his thumb, the pointed at the woods. He was trying to give Tom the message that he was leaving.

Jeremias put a paw on Thom's shoulder. "It's Vash, old chap! Don"t bally shoot him!"
Hey you! What? Expecting a great quote or some heart-warming poem? Too bad, my signature is just boring. Stop reading it. Stop it. Why are you still reading it?

"He has decided to leave." Tom said solemnly.  "I thought he was going to betray us to the enemy."

Antura shook her head. "You thought Vash would betray us? Great seasons."

"I have learned that one can never be too careful."

Norham was setting a fairly good pace, and now, they had reached the dunes

OOC: Now I just gotta sit back and wait.

BIC: Vash turned around and shook his head before allying further into the brush.

Slowly, Antura nodded. "I suppose. Just-" she smiled, recalling an incident not too long ago, "- trust your gut." Zef enjoyed making sarcastic comments, and did so now without looking away from his target. "Aye, darlin'- always. Until yer gut argues against yer common sense. Not that ye have any o' that," he muttered as he loosed an arrow. A thin scream of agony reached them from below.

Baypaw was happy- Norham seemed to be fully recovered, they were already on the coast, and it was a beautiful day. She sighed with contentment, closing her eyes for a moment and feeling the breeze ruffle her fur. Baypaw scanned the horizon, and saw Salamandastron rising in the distance, majestic and formidable. "There it is! The jolly old mountain, wot!" she called to Norham.

Norham looked up to see the huge monolithic figure, jutting up from the shore. It was an awesome sight. Huge terraces, small homes carved into the massive structure. It was jaw-dropping. This just pushed him further. He started to run. This was it.

Whooping with delight, Baypaw dashed off after him. "There's nobeast born yet that can outrun a jolly old hare, wot, though I'd like t'see you try! Whoohahahaha!" She caught up to her otter friend easily, and was soon kicking up sand in front of him. "Haha! Let's see how you like sand for bloomin' supper, old chap!"
