Zef chatted with the weasel for a few minutes. He learned that the weasel was not the guard- another beast was. When he heard the name, Zef nodded as though it meant something to him, then continued the conversation. Finally, the weasel fell asleep and Zef sat quietly by himself, trying to figure out a way to help Jen and Tailli escape. Or perhaps just Jen, he thought. Tailli was the one who had taken Jen in the first place. It was unlikely the vermin thought her useless. In fact, they might have tied he up with the babe to make her look innocent. Zef mulled this over, thinking, watching... and waiting.

Vash waited till no one was looking of was asleep, before starting to sneak up behind Igdus, his knife pulled out.

OOC: Just to clarify- where are you, Swiftpaw? Are you in Redwall, at the vermin camp, on the road, etc. Our characters are all in various places at this point. Just so ya know.
@Norham- Are you going to continue Riggaeo's fight with Antura? He started fighting with her when he got off the siege tower, right? Just checking.

OOC: So, if the siege towers are breaching the walls, time to change tactics. BTW, welcome to the forum swiftpaw!

BIC: Tom realized that ranged weapons were useless, so he dropped the crossbow, only to find that he did not have a sword at paw! Thinking quickly, he shoved a weasel off the battlements, grabbing the weasels sword as he did so. Seeing Antura in trouble, he launched into action and ran to help her.

OOC: It"s ok, I was in the same situation when I joined.

Norham was organizing plans while Tobi prepped the hares. they were going to march to redwall, and retake it soon. well, at least they hoped. "Baypaw marm, are ye ready to march?" Norham asked

Baypaw smiled. "Of course I'm flippin' ready. I can out-march you any day of the season, laddy buck!"

Almost everybeast was asleep in the vermin camp. At least, they were in the area with the prisoners. Zef was about to make his move when he saw movement. A weasel was coming up behind Igdus with a drawn knife. The old shrew got up and moved closer to the weasel. Soon, he was right behind him. He put an arrow on the string of his bow and drew it before whispering harshly, "One wrong move an' yer a deadbeast. I've got an arrer pointed right at ye, weasel. I couldn't miss at this range, even if I wanted to. Now tell me, what are ye doing, eh? Got an old score t'settle with that'n, or do ye just like killin'?"
