Is it a kid's series, though?

It's classified as a children's series, even though it really shouldn't be.

Interesting thing: There were two times when SP got too dark for a kid's series. The first is a complete spoiler. But the second was when two uber-superpowered beings were having a fight. There is a scene when one being keeps plucking fence posts out of the ground and throwing them at the other one but they just splintered on his chest. Derek Landy wanted, rather than fence posts, people. So the one being would be plucking fleeing pedestrians up off the street and throwing them at her opponent, and those pedestrians would... splinter.

But like, I don't think that's as bad as the getting nailed to a chair that happens in the fourth book, though I guess we only saw the aftermath of that, not the event itself. But we do see one character just get tortured for no reason in the sixth book. And REDACTED kicks the brain out of someone's head in the fifth, so I don't see why people-splintering is too dark.

Oh I know. I never want Trump to be assassinated. Or impeached. Though Trump has committed horrible crimes and said horrible things, he's better than what will take his place should he fall.

But the election is over and we need to stop talking about this.

Because the only thing that people have saying Pence was even for conversion therapy is a quote from 2000 on his website that was literally, "•Congress should support the reauthorization of the Ryan White Care Act only after completion of an audit to ensure that federal dollars were no longer being given to organizations that celebrate and encourage the types of behaviors that facilitate the spreading of the HIV virus. Resources should be directed toward those institutions which provide assistance to those seeking to change their sexual behavior."

So while he is anti-gay, I'll admit that, he's never actually supported 'conversion therapy'. We have to be careful not to take people on twitter as factual, otherwise misunderstands can arise.

Take that however you want, I just wanted to show you the evidence I've seen and the facts that I would like to make public. And I'm curious to see what you think.
