Xbalantie's head was like a yo yo at 20x normal speed , backandforthandbackandforthand! (you get the picture) When Liv left to dance, the squirrel maid couldn't help but follow. Watching her dance is like trying to watch a dragon fly buzz around your head, she's constantly changing direction speed, and who knows what else! "Thisissomuchfuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun!!!"

Sora walked over to the other grumpy squirrelmaid, Spera. She folded her arms and leaned against the wall, bent ear-tip twitching in annoyance. "This is a waste of time," she complained out loud. "We could be spending our day happily going at each other's throats with our weapons, but nooooo. Somebody just had to declare a silly party. Pfffff. It's disgusting." She glanced once at the other squirrelmaid, then turned her attention back to the dance, narrowing her eyes in contempt.

Tired of simply spinning around and around in circles and singling along much too loud with the music with made up lyrics (even though it was great to feel even more dizzy than usual), Golfar decided to try something a little more fun, cartwheels!  So away she went across the dance floor, barley missing most beasts, but landing on a paw or two, here and there. Finally the crazy wheel of fur came to a crashing stop when some poor beast who was carrying a load of fresh food out to the banquet tables happened into her path.

It was indeed a sight to behold! Platters, flans, pasties,  marmalade, mouse, stoat and a squirrel who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, all in a heap on the floor.  It was hard to tell where the food ended and the beasts began. "If only a hare were here!" she exclaimed, "they wouldn't mind the mess, just scoff it right up! Hmm..right tasty flans and dip, wot!" she added after taking one of the dainty delicacies off of her head.

Seeing Sora was sulking in a corner, Gasher went to her. "Would you like anything, miz?" He offered her a plate full of food. "Maybe some apple crumble? Or some mushroom pasties with elderberry cordial?" He smiled beamingly at her. "Don't make a droopy face like that, miz, 'tis great fun to be in a party!"

OOC: Oooookay, that was weird.  :D

Icefire

Liv stopped dancing when she saw the mess. Upon hearing Golfar's comment, she laughed and replied, "What need is there of a hare when I'm about?!"
With that she dove right in. She ate everything she could get her paws on before the other beasts could clean it up. Squished scones, pasties, cakes all disappeared into her mouth in rapid succession. She licked up the soup before someone could get a mop at it. The horrified kitchen volunteers worked hard to try to clean as much up as possible before she continued to eat off the floor.
"What?" She asked innocently, "I was once told that that which does not kill you only makes you stronger!"

OOC:  Lol, I just laughed at your entire post, Ice!  ;D

BIC:  Spera watched in disgust as Liv shoveled food into her mouth.  Where did the mousemaid put it?  How did she stay thin?  "That is the most disgusting thing I've ever seen," she remarked to Sora, shaking her head.

Sora suddenly smiled sweetly. She accepted the plate with exaggerated graciousness. "Why thank you, friend." In moments, the entire plate's contents had been dumped on Gasher's head. The albino snickered and took him by the shoulders, turning him around and pushing him off in the other direction.
"Nice try!" she called snidely, and returned to her former position against the wall. The squirrel heard Spera's remark and turned her head in the direction of the commotion. She raised an eyebrow, pink-red eyes narrowing once more as she watched the gross spectacle. "How right you are, Spera."
Sora looked away indifferently and examined one white-furred paw, scowling when she saw the crumbs and juices that remained from the food she had turned down. The albino licked at the paw once, but promptly spat out the sweet tasting apple crumble bits.

Spera smiled slightly when she saw what Sora had done.  It wasn't a happy smile, though, it was more of an evil, mischievous smile.  "Would you care to do that on more of the creatures, Princess?  It would be my honour to dump food on other creatures' heads."

Sora chuckled and rubbed her paws together eagerly, like the classical villain. "Of course, Spera. Who shall be our first target?" The question was addressed half to herself. Her pinkish eyes traveled indecisively over the crowd of assembled partybeasts. "I can't decide. You choose."

"Hmm," Spera mumbled, gazing at the crowd of pitiful creatures before her.  She too rubbed her paws together as she looked around, searching for the perfect target.  She then saw her first pick.
"There," she declared, gesturing at Liv, the gluttonous mousemaid.  Spera grinned, happy with her choice.  It would be most hilarious too see food on the hare-like mouse's head.  Serves her right for being such a pig!

OOC:  No, Ice, I'm not referring to you as a pig, just Liv.  ;)  ;D

Gasher looked dumb-struck as Sora pushed him away, turning to Golfar, he asked dumbly. "What did I do?"

WarriorOfMossflower

Sora snickered, snatching a trifle--not a big one, mind, because it was small enough to fit on a medium-sized platter--from a tray that rolled past under the hands of some chubby mousecook. She glanced at the other squirrelmaid with mischief in her eyes before she began to sneak up behind the gluttonous mousemaid Liv.

Farril got up from the floor and looked around. His eyes locked on a pastry in somebeast's paw. He didn't even look up to see who it was. Crossing the room casually to not draw attention, he neared the yummy pastry. His mouth started to water at the sight of it. What was it called again... trifle? No, don't be silly. Farril told himself. That's a dumpling!! He was really close now. He lunged for it, swiping it out of the paw and stuffing it in his face. Mmmmm...

Rainshadow

OOC:  I'm guessing you were aiming at Princess Sora?

BIC:  Spera watched in horror as a weasel lunged at the albino princess, and she tried to swat him away.  "How dare you do that to a princess, you filthy vermin?!"  She hissed at him, pulling out her blood-red knife as if to defend the other squirrelmaid.
Now, bear in mind, this was not typical Spera behaviour.  She usually wasn't kind at all.  But, seeing as she'd found somebeast that was slightly interesting - somebeast that she could cause mischief with - she wanted to protect them so she could at least have a bit of fun at this dull party.

Sora was still holding out her white-furred paw on which the platter still balanced. She turned her head slightly and slowly, with the precise but usually forgotten grace she had been taught at the palace. Her eyes narrowed at Farril. Her bent ear-tip twitched irately. An idea began to formulate in her manipulative mind. "No, no, Spera. There's no need for our blades here. It would be a shame to dirty your knife on such useless vermin scum. Let's try a different tactic, shall we?"
Without warning, the agile princess jumped to the side with her thin black coat swirling around in contrast with her white fur, bowling over another fat mousecook. She swung the trolley handle from his paws as he fell and removed a few dishes from it. In her right paw she now held a plate of blueberry tarts, in the left she held a wobbling fruitcake, and nestled between her chin and shoulder she held another plate bearing a trifle topped with meadowcream and cherries. She nimbly passed the trifle to Spera with a light toss, expecting the other squirrelmaid to catch it. Not waiting to see the result, she turned back to Farril with a smug grin. The albino gave the trolley a push with her footpaw, setting its course for the vermin.
"You first!" she called to Spera, pinkish eyes aglitter.

OOC: Wow, Sora's so out of character I don't even...lol. Previously, I could never picture her being a mean princess like this. This is fun!  ;D (By the way, I'm pretty sure everybody knows this already, but since I'm not used to playing a mean character I'm going to say it anyways: I'm really not aiming any insults or anything at actual roleplayers, just characters.  :) )
Edit: Also, sorry if I'm dominating this thread a little too much. Let me know and I can back off. I'm just getting really into it. This is such fun...
