Long Patrol Dueling Tournament

[Captain Tammo]

Liath struck! She whipped her staff around quickly, swinging it towards Tammo's stomach.

Tammo takes a heavy downward swing at the oncoming staff, chopping it in half!
OOC: is that ok? I mean hey, now you have two staves

OOC: Is it to late to join?

I don't think so!

OOC: Yeah, it's fine. She won't like it very much, though. That staff was her most prized possession.

Liath stared, dumbstruck, at her broken staff- but only for a moment. She quickly came to terms with her weapon's new status, and grinned mirthlessly as she held a piece in each paw. "Ye shouldnae have done tha', mah wee laddie. Now Ah've got two staves, y'see." Having said all she was going to on the subject, Liath struck out at Tammo's face with one half of her staff, while going for his swordpaw with the other half.

Aster Tuyo (me) snuck up behind her and raised his long saber, preparing to hit her on the head and stun her.

The staff comes within a whisker of Tammo's face. He is unable to dodge the other part which hits his paw hard. He winces and switches his dirk to the other paw. "Too bad I'm ambidextrous chap!" He sees Aster about to hit him and dives into Liath, knocking him out of the way. "Tsk tsk" Tammo says as he gets up, "Tis bad form attackin' from behind wot! Have at thee!" He makes a lunge towards Aster.

Tobias stopped short of the beast. Oh, no killing you say? Well, I better use something else!" He said as he dropped his warhammer, making an audible thud, all around the Abbey.

Aster blocks Tammo' s blade and draws his dirk. He advances on Tammo with both blades ready.

After picking herself up, Liath leaped forward, trying to tackle Aster from behind. "How d'ye like a taste o' your own medicine, laddie? Redwaaaaall!"

-is wounded- *knocks on abbey door in desperation*

*notices the small battle**grabs dagger* *stumbles**falls*

Aster sees Liath coming. "Yaylahoooo! Hiyareeeee!" he yells, hitting her with his dirk.

*grabs thred and needle from pocket and sews wound*

Fortunately, the angle of Aster's dirk caused the flat to hit her, instead of the blade. It thudded into the side of her head, however, which was not good. She managed to stagger back a few paces before collapsing, unconscious. She landed directly in front of Swiftpaw.

Liath stirred, slowly waking. Still groggy, she muttered thickly, "Wha' are ye doin' here, laddie? Ye're too young tae be in this battle." The hare sat up, shaking her head to clear it, and looking for her staff. She had lost even the pieces, but instead found a dagger. Smiling grimly, she tucked it into her tunic cord. "That'll do nicely," she muttered.
