It's been quite some time since I read it, so I don't remember the ending, but I'm sure that it was already complete.  The release date was only about 4 months after his death, and books are usually done long in advance.  For example, with the Warriors series by Erin Hunter, I know that they write the books roughly a year in advance, and we've seen evidence that they're already printed at least 3 months before the release date.
True. As I said before, its probubly just me...

Life is too short to rush through it.

Never trust a smiling pirate.  :D

I can do that because I'm awesome.

"It really gets up my nose when publishers call my book another Lord of the Rings. It's my bloody book! I wrote it. And another thing, I didn't have to plunder Norse and European mythology to do it!" - Brian Jacques.

I think it's just you, Ungatt buddy.

Father Thibb's letter was a part of the epilogue, with most of it being by Lady Wildstripe. Even then it was just the usual RW epilogue giving readers a quick summary of how things are going with the plot done (a denouement I believe is the term).

Doesn't seem much different from any of the other epilogues in the series to me.

But the part with the epilogue (expesually Thibb's part) seemed to lake the usuall detail that is givin in most of the other epilogues. All he says is that the shrews were helping to rebuild the abby gate, and thats it. It didn't say anything about those two hedgehogs, of the Rogue Crew, or anybody. It just feels to me like the ending seemed rushed.
And it probably is just me, but I hold my opinion.

Life is too short to rush through it.

One thing I'm really concerned about Ungatt......You misspelled "Write" in the title.  ;D
They told me I was gullible. I believed them.

It is well known that 47% of statistics are made up on the spot.

I used to leave out half my sentances, but now I
