I've become a Dubstep fan at the same time I became a Parkour fan.

Dubstep is an awesome type of music!

Skyblade

Interesting, maybe I can listen to a bit of Dubstep too. What is it like?

Thanks, MatthiasMan, for the avatar!

Dubstep <--- This is Dubstep.

Dubstep and Parkour go hand in hand.  ;D

The Shade

I love parkour! Though I only really do the easy stuff....
They told me I was gullible. I believed them.

It is well known that 47% of statistics are made up on the spot.

On this page there's a topic dedicated to Parkour!  :)

Norham Waterpaw

Well, Dubstep is very cool, but it's sometimes associated with not good stuff...

Other than that, it's cool.

Parkour I enjoy as well, but like Shade, I can do simple stuff, not the 360° Spin off the wall triple back flip that you see all the free-runners doing.
Hey you! What? Expecting a great quote or some heart-warming poem? Too bad, my signature is just boring. Stop reading it. Stop it. Why are you still reading it?

Ungatt Trunn

On the Top 100 DJ's list, the highest ranking Dubstep DJ Ranks #10. He's okay, though one of his EP's was marked as Explicted...

Life is too short to rush through it.

Sorry about the double post, but I'm just wondering: what Dubstep artist do you listen to, Redwaller?

Life is too short to rush through it.

Redwaller

I'm not sure, 'cos I listen to an hour and a half long soundtrack of mixed melodic dubstep. But among those are "Neon Light" and "2012 is the end of the world".

The Shade

A year ago I would never have thought that I would be doing the stuff I do now... As I said before, not very complex stuff, but its satisfing to just jump a high fence, or shuffle up two concerete walls...

Dubstep is kinda weird, and not something I search for, but when it randomly is playing I sort of enjoy it. Idk. I suppose you could say it intrigues me.

naima

dubstep is good stuff... now that i'm living in london, i can firmly claim somewhat ownership of it. :)

it's among that long list of musical sub-genres to come out of reggae, although some dubstep nowadays has lots it's reggae rooting which is a shame.
it was the strangest thing today
i studied footprints in abandoned pathways
'neath forgotten undergrowth something stirring again
you were a single red blood cell and I lost you in this knot of capillaries
but you were bringing me oxygen when I needed it most in the smoke

There aren't a lot of dubstep musicians I listen to, though I do listen to a lot of musicians that fall under the category of "post-dubstep". That is, electronic music with dubstep influences but isn't quite dubstep. The musician I listen to A LOT and which is most often associated with the genre is James Blake, but there is also SBTRKT, The xx and Jamie xx, amongst others. I love electronic music, though not for dancing or anything, just because I love the sounds and how they all mix together. I'm quite open minded when it comes to music, which is why you can find this on my iPod along with Nirvana, The Beatles or Sigur Ros (who make ambient, near-classical music).
Received mostly negative reviews.

Even though the highest Dubstep DJ ranks #10, Dubstep isn't the most popular style. On the Top 100 DJ's list, there are currently only two Dubstep DJs (Nero, #83; Skrillex, #10).

Life is too short to rush through it.

Norham Waterpaw

Yeah, skrillex is pretty darn popular.
