Water-dwelling monsters

In a bunch of books, there are monsters that live in the water.  Any ideas if they're related, freaks of nature what?  I can't seem to remember to books, but I know one is in High Rhulain.

The one in High Rhulain is called the Slothinoug, or something like that...I can't remember any other ones off hand, though.

I believe he is refering to creatures such as The Deepcoiler and Snakefish.

Yeah...that too.  . Anyway, I doubt any of the others were related the Slothy.

I think the one from High Rhulain was just a living dinosaur or something. The others are all just really big, rare, or strange animals. I don't think they're related.

How on earth could a hare take down a dinosaur?

Because he is a hare and hares are awesome, therefore he was awesome, and his awesomeness was greater than that of the dinosaur. He out awesomed his enemy. His awesomeicity saved the day. It's a ratio, really, the dinosaur had 87% awesome and Frunk had 99543% awesome. That overgrown lizard didn't stand a chance, let's be honest here.

The Snakefish scene was creepy to me.  It made my skin crawl.

I have already stated my reasonable, practical explanation but I will state it again: Anything will die if you stab it through the brain

If you guys want to be boring. Stabbing somebeast through the brain is a surefire way to kill 'em, unless they've got the bloodwrath. Then it might take three or four attempts, I imagine. I accept your theory, Jet.

Major Frunk, was in the middle of a serious Bloodwrath attack when he took down the dinosaur (forgotten how to spell its name) And he stabbed it in the brain, and throat. And the creature couldn't stop him, b/c he was on its back. Simples.
