Hailey watched the dispute tuning here head back and forth fallowing as they passed threats and accusations back and forth between them. When Kogane ran off in a huff she ran after him yelling. "What! Hold on!" when she had caught up with him she said "Hold on you can't just! Wait. Listen, I don't know what he did to you (I could make a good guess) but whatever it was he's paid for it. I can tell he regrets it. I can see it in his eyes and killing him is not going to undo what he did. You may be made but I can tell you two used to be friends.

Nagi ran through the woods and stopped at a large tree. She walked around the perimiter until she found what she was looking for. A knot in the wood. She pulled it and a door opened in the tree. Slipping inside she veiwed her, as she liked to call it, lair.
OOC: That's right. Nagi got herself a lair. And ain't nobody gonna find it! *is attacked by a million animals that found lair*

Kogane looked at her, his eyes were blazing fury "Oh I'm not mad Hailey, I'm burning with an all consuming rage! DO NOT DARE TELL ME THAT ASHIGA MARUTSU HAS PAID FOR WHAT HE'S DONE! REGRETFUL OR NOT HE HAS COMMITTED A CRIME THAT I COULD NEVER FORGIVE HIM FOR AND THE FACT THAT WE USED TO BE FRIENDS MAKES IT WORSE! IF HE WERE JUST SOME UNKNOWN ASSASSIN I PROBABLY WOULDN'T CARE SO MUCH, THE ASSASSIN WOULD DIE SURE BUT THEY WERE JUST DOING A JOB. ASHIGA MAY HAVE BEEN DOING A JOB BUT HE BETRAYED THE TRUST OF HIS TWO CLOSEST FRIENDS AND THE ENTIRE NATION OF HAKAAN!" Kogane took a deep breath "I must kill him or I'll never be able to move on"

Hailey jumped a little but quickly recovered and said "that may be true but it still wont fix it. If you set out to kill him you will be killing your self in the process... Sometimes life is more painful than death. Death is a quick fleeting moment an end to suffering and pain,"

OOC: So sorry for not posting earlier.

Maddy banged on the gate again and called out 'I just need a place to stay for a while, please let me in!'

OOC: Am going to do some time skipping!! Sorry!

BIC: Russina walked up to the main gates off Redwall Abbey and knocked. She could hardly wait to meet everyone!!!
OOC: She hasn't been to the Abbey before.

OOC: Why does that have to be time skipping?

OOC: Russina still had a ways to go.

OOC: Hey Jet I'm still waiting for your reply.

Kogane looked at the squirrel "I assure you that killing Ashiga would not cause me pain, he has done too much to warrant that." He paused "Besides even if I did feel remorseful I could just commit seppuku, I have no reason to live save the death of Ashiga"

"I am not saying you have to forgive him. But like I said Killing him will accomplish nothing," Hailey said  "I understand you have to fight for you honer but if you kill him that makes you no better than he is. Don't stoop to his level,"

Ashiga Marutsu was thinking of committing Seppuku.

It was over, and he knew it. Either he would play his cards and win the fight, or he would fold the cards, pick up a sword, and die inevitably. Seppuku was just a way of escaping the choice he had to make.

Bloomin' choices.

Ugh.

Sitting on the roof of the abbey, with his swords in his lap, Ashiga Marutsu was coming close to realising that he would have to make a choice soon-ish, because Kogane would only wait until tomorrow.

Kogane would kill him tomorrow...



He could just run.

Ashiga had always been very good at running, too. Many times had he evaded the most elite of all security forces, and the Kingsguard in Fiore of all things, simply by running, and hiding.

Kogane was not a security officer, nor a Kingsguard, though he could once have been either.

Kogane would be easy to escape.

Kogane would never find him ever again.


[[ I'm not sure what I want Ashiga to do, if I'm honest. If he fights cleanly, he'll die, and if he does what he does better than anyone else does, and fight dirty, then Kogane will probably die. Any ideas?]]

Kogane smiled a little "It seems our cultural backgrounds are very different. In Hakaan warriors are held in the highest regard of all therefore by killing Ashiga I am not stooping to anything, I am upholding my honour and doing what would be expected of me. I will not be as bad as he is if I kill him anyway, he is no real warrior, he uses trickery and deceit, I fight cleanly and with honour, this makes him worse than me."

OOC: I would rather you fought with him, I have a plan and it does not include anyone's death. I wish I didn't have to post that, I wanted it to be a surprise

Hailey held her head in both paws all the yelling and arguing was making her head hurt even more. She wished she new more about his culture then maybe she could get threw to him but she could see that for now he was not going to budge.  She decided to go get something to put on her head and started off in the direction of the infirmary.

Russina knocked on the gates, waiting a little impatiently. She didn't like waiting!
