mine where rose, methusala, and mask
I want the world of Tolkien,
The message of Lewis;
The adventure of Jacques,
And the heart of Milne.
But I want the originality of me.

MeadowR

Having not read most of them in a while, I can only vote one for now and that is Methuselah. It was so sudden and a real shame because he was so old anyway, would've been nice for him to live that bit longer.

Ungatt Trunn

Well, Ungatt Trunn, for one thing....and I also kinda wished that Veil didn't die. I think it would be intresting to see what would happen to him if he had lived.

Life is too short to rush through it.

Felldoh, Finbarr Galedeep, Mask, Mother Melles. I didn't vote Mask, but I wish he hadn't died.  :'( I didn't see him on the poll or I would have voted for him. But if many of these characters hadn't died, futures would have been different. Some for the worst. If Methuselah hadn't died, Mathias might not have gone off to fight Asmodeus. And therefor would not have got the sword, and not have defeated Cluny.

Russano the Wise

That was a hard choice, but I voted for Skarlath, Mask, and Mellus.

Fun. is a fantastic band.

Tam and Martin

I went for Mask, Rose and Felldoh. Mask was so sacrificial to Gingevere and Ferdy and Coggs. ROse was just plain sad because of Martin and Felldoh, though that was what he wanted, still I think he should have lived.

As sad as these deaths are, I don't think I could change any of them. Knowing that you may only have a small time to get to know a character is what makes those characters that die so special. Plus (I'm entering The Sci-Fi Zone here) imagine what would happen to the timeline if we traveled to Marshank and spared Rose?! There'd be no Redwall Abbey!

I will admit Rose's death brings tears to my eyes in both book and TV series.

Mask. One of my favorite  characters of all-time.  :-X
They told me I was gullible. I believed them.

It is well known that 47% of statistics are made up on the spot.

I used to leave out half my sentances, but now I

All of them, and none of them.

From a story standpoint, the books are better and more interesting with their deaths.

From a character standpoint, I was sad at all of their deaths.
