OOC: Forgot about them....But then, most of my horde playing people have disappeared! >:(

BIC: Arya took the shovel and dug, listening to the two talk. The hole was soon quite a bit deeper than it had been when she took the shovel, but not deep enough.

Bryant watched, amazed, as Dave drew Bryony. "Wow.....You're fantastic!" He breathed.

The Skarzs

Argunath put a paw on the shovel. "I will continue from here, Abbey Warrior."

"Rest just a few more minutes." Arya insisted, and continued digging.

Jukka the Sling

She didn't know why, but she believed this part of his story as well. Well, the first part makes sense - why should he lie about the rest? she reasoned. But despite the fact Argunath's story explained everything, she was still wary of him - even if he had saved a Dibbun, the cat was unstable.

But then she realized that she was admitting Argunath had done something good. The full impact of that fact and its implications hit her like a ton of bricks. He had saved a Dibbun. Her thoughts spun. Why had he done it? He, a vermin, had saved the life of an Abbeydweller. Vermin were irredeemably evil. Weren't they? She'd never heard of one that had done anything good...

Kaylan had never been so confused in her life. Without speaking, she turned and walked away from the clearing, so wrapped in her own thoughts she barely realized she was heading back to the Abbey.
"The world is indeed full of peril, and in it there are many dark places; but still there is much that is fair, and though in all lands love is now mingled with grief, it grows perhaps the greater." ~J.R.R. Tolkien

"Hmm....I do believe Kaylan's coming around to the fact that not all vermin are evil." Arya said, then finally handed over the shovel. "Alrigfht, here you are, Argunath." She said.

The Skarzs

"I'm not a vermin," Argunath growled softly. "I am a cougar, part of the cat family. One should recognize the difference." He refused to speak any more on the matter, only digging quietly and efficiently.

"figure of speech, Argunath." Arya said quietly.

The Skarzs

"It's large enough," Argunath said, putting the shovel down. He went over to one of the dead bodies and dragged it over to the grave; it would take a while, but he would bury them all.

Arya rolled her eyes and sighed, then went over to another dead body and tsarted to drag it over. "No protesting." She ordered.

The Skarzs

Argunath only tossed the body in the pit-grave, going over to another that was slightly in the bushes. Grabbing it by the cold paw, he was shocked to see only the top half of the cat come with it. Once again, flashes of horrible memories clouded his mind, and he stumbled back, resting against a tree. Blinking furiously, he banished the images, going back to pick up the body, this time without looking.

Arya looked up and shrieked with surprise, and was half-way up a tree when she realized what she was doing. "Uh, Argunath? You know that body's torn in two, right?" She asked, then had to go over to the bushes for a minute.

The Skarzs

"Yes."
He tossed the gruesome object in with the rest. "From what I can remember I cut him in half." He went to the broken body of Grag and put that in as well. "And I crushed this one's ribs and spine."

Arya retched for a few more minutes, then returned, after wiping herself up a bit. "Sorry. That was just too much." She apologized.

The Skarzs

"I suggest you not look when I get the other half, then."
Argunath was having a hard time keeping the memories away from his mind, but he grit his teeth and continued his job. He had gotten used to seeing the gore; it was the memories that really tore him apart.

Arya did not look, but went to get a head that she saw poking out of the bushes. This one was whole, mostly )He was missing a paw, which she also collated) and draggerd it over to the hole.
