Wildcat Attack!

After gathering the rest of the bodies, Argunath shoveled dirt over them.

Since Argunath had the only shovel, Areya started to help by kicking some of the dirt into the hole.

Filling the hole would be quicker than digging it out; Argunath continued.

Aggril looked at the position of the sun, adjusting their course of walking. "We should make it to the mountain by tomorrow," he announced to the others.

[Cornflower MM]

"You're joking, right?" Bryony said, looking at them. "I've visited the mountain before, and it took me three days, minimum."

[The Skarzs]

"I didn't say when tomorrow," Aggril grumbled. "And, if we move quickly, we will make it there by tomorrow."

[Cornflower MM]

"Okay. What's your miracle shortcut, then?" Bryony asked, not unkindly, just puzzled as to how on earth they'd get to te mountain tomorrow.......It took Martin the Warrior a season!

[The Skarzs]

"They went the long way around; we're taking the most direct route. Alright, so we won't make it there by tomorrow; what's the harm of being wrong sometimes?"

They were almost done covering the grave, and Argunath was glad there would be one less thing to think about.

Bryony just rolled her eyes and sighed. This was going to be a long journey.

When they were done burying the bodies, Argunath made his way back to the abbey; he had to talk to Kaylan and Abbess Rosemary.

[Cornflower MM]

Arya looked at Argunath, and sighed. "Would you like me to stay behind, or would you mind if I tree-jump?" She asked.

[The Skarzs]

"Why should you stay behind? There is nothing left here but a haunting memory. Come, I'm sure you don't want to be here any more than I do." With that, the cougar left Arya to her own decision.

[Cornflower MM]

"Alright. I was just wondering if you'd like some company." Arya said, then vaulted up a tree and set off for the Abbey, going slower than usual.

[The Skarzs]

Argunath heard a sound opposite from Arya's direction, and knit his brows. Going over to investigate, he was slightly surprised to see a weasel jump out in front of him.
"Alright, surrender, or I'll tear yoouuuhhh, oohh, shi-"
The big cougar caught him by the neck and showed his teeth as he spoke. "Get out of this land before I eat you."
He dropped the terrified vermin, who ran off whimpering in fear. Argunath shook his head, and turned back to the abbey.

Arya was at the Abbey, and was waiting for the cat to appear.

Argunath pushed through the brush until he saw Arya waiting for him at the gate.
