OOC: oh I see a battle coming...

Vatra heard some one behind them She stopped and turned her hopes high Ervoyce was coming! She thought. Then she saw the figure in the dark and knew that it was not him "Arya! Watch out," She yelled grabbing her dirk.
I am back... sort of... maybe... Hi?

Arya jumped, and started fumbling for her bow, only to remember that she had not brought it, since it could be a bit cumbersome at times. She grabbed her dagger, and drew it. "Vatra.....I don't think my dagger's going to be much help..." She whispered to her friend, then bit her lip If she wasd going to go down, it would be fighting. She waited to see what the advisory would do.

Raphael saw two squirrels up ahead, he smiled his confidant, you can't touch me, smile, then advanced.
Even as he approached Raphael was summing the squirrels up, the didn't look to well, but they didn't seem injured. One was red eyed from crying, but the other looked particularly dangerous, a light of angry fire burned deep in her eyes. Raphael wasn't too sure he could take them both, if he attacked one, the other would simply attack him from behind. He now wished he hadn't sighted them, and had just followed them to their hideout. He tried to think what to do, despite everything he was, he was still only eighteen.

"Typical, just typical. I've been gone five blooming seasons, and the day I get back, it rains. Typical." Ushen grumbled.
He'd recently been away on a five season trip to the south. This was something he did regularly. He also sometimes went far east, far north, and even further west. But on this particular trip, he had been collecting some rather difficult paint colours, that can only be found in the south. Ushen could have actually already been home, to the large old badger set which he inhabited for only small amounts of the time, but he had been caught up in his own head. Constantly stopping to sketch this, and that. After a while it caught up with him, also his heavy bags were slowing him down too. One back was full of art things, the other his traveling things, but he was also carrying a violin case, and a small guitar case. Ushen loved music, and had on this last trip learned to play the guitar. Yes, it was impractical to lug around to, fortunately water proof, instrument cases, but on long nights by the campfire alone, he needed something other than drawing to do. He also played the flute, and had one on a throng around his neck. He couldn't wait to get home, and unload himself, though finding something to eat would be difficult. You can't leave food for five seasons, so his supper would be whatever he found in his supply sack.
OOC: As you may of guessed, his home in Brockhall. Oh it'll be funny for him to find his home full of Redwallers!

"Stop skulking in the shadows Vermin!" Vatra shouted a little to loudly she could feel the fire rushing threw her veins and she had an urge to charge at the creature. She was clinging to the very edge of sanity. She had found that martins sword had given her some control over her rage and without it she could fell the pull. Stay sane for Arya  She kept telling herself.
I am back... sort of... maybe... Hi?

Arya wasn't sure Vatra had heard. She groaned; Thius was not going to turn out very well, she could tell that already.

Jath looked down at the vermin who was going after two helpless squirrels. She pocked her head out of the trees that were hiding her. I'll take care of it she whispered to the two squirrels. Getting on a bough she aimed her long bow firing shots at the vermin. Her paws were like lightning as she fired at the vermin.

Raphael heard some noise, and instinctively dived out of the way. He rolled, and was back up on his feet surprisingly quick. He also had put his dagger, and sword away, and brought his bow round, and loaded just as fast. He fired up into the tree from where he was attacked from, then twisted round, and reloaded, then fired at the bolder looking squirrel's heart.
-------------------------------
Ushen could tell he was almost home. He quickened his pace, looking forward to get out of the rain. Just then he thought he heard something, he stopped, and listened, but he must have imagined it, cos he couldn't hear anything now. So Ushen set off again, whistling a merry tune.

Vattra took off running but not towards Bockhall Arya forgotten. She came around behind the fox dirk drawn her eyes blazing she attacked him from behind.

Arya was amazed; Arrows were seemingly coming from nowhere. Unless, some beast was actually helping them. When Vatra slipped off to attack from behind, she groaned. She was going to get hurt by those arrows if the shooter wasn't careful! Then she decided to take a chance, and started running towards the weasel, hoping to grab his dirk. If that succeeded, then she attack. If not, she was going to Brockhall, as she was in no condition to fight her her dagger at the moment.

rachel25

OOC: Raphael is a weasel.

BIC: Raphael began to panic, he was now being attacked from three sides. He loaded his bow up again, and fired at the weaker looking squirrel, then quickly spun round, drawing his sword, and swung at the bolder squirrel. Without meaning to he shouted desperately, "Jantar help me!"
He then realized that he had said it, and was angry with himself. Now they'd think he was a young un out of his depth.

Cornflower MM

OOC: Weaker squirrel? Is that Arya?

BIC: The weasel fired at her, and she tried to dodge, but the arrow pierced her shoulder. She gave a screech, but continued running towards him. She readied her dagger, and as she flashed by, she slashed at him, then disappeared into the trees, hoping to get to Brockhall to bring Ervoyce or Bryant. Then she saw a squirrel nearby, going towards the general Brockhall direction, and ran for him. When she got near enough, she cried, "Please! You've got to help!"

rachel25

OOC: Raphael guessed that she was, it doesn't mean she is.

BIC: Raphael gritted his teeth as he felt a searing pain in his shoulder. He didn't cry out though, his father had told him that crying out, or screaming meant you were weak. Though he could feel tears fill his eyes, he could feel the blood coming out of his arm, and mixing with the rain. He just wanted to run away, but he knew he couldn't. He wasn't a coward, he wasn't a coward, he wasn't.

OOC: I'm beginning to feel sorry for him now.

BIC: Ushen turned surprised. "Um, what?"
Ushen looked at the slightly crazy looking squirrelmaid before him, and automatically bit his lip. This was something he always did when his shyness took over him.

Cornflower MM

"There's a weasel back there, along with some odd beast, oh yeah, and let's not forget the squirrel with Bloodwrath! Could you please just help? I need to get Vatra calmed down before she hurts herself, or the odd beast who's helping us!" Arya pleaded, then added, "If you do, I can even get you some of the best food you've ever tasted!" Then she went up to him and grabbed his paw, and started charging off back to Vatra. Hey, she was desperate! Desperate beasts do odd things.  And now wasn't the time for shyness.
