I am almost done with Lord Brocktree, and I don't know which one to read next!
I want the world of Tolkien,
The message of Lewis;
The adventure of Jacques,
And the heart of Milne.
But I want the originality of me.

I can do that because I'm awesome.

"It really gets up my nose when publishers call my book another Lord of the Rings. It's my bloody book! I wrote it. And another thing, I didn't have to plunder Norse and European mythology to do it!" - Brian Jacques.

Both! In either order.

I was really impressed by Taggerung last time I read it, so I will suggest that one on instinct. But I remember liking Triss a lot however long ago I re-read that one, too.

Basically, I think you'll be happy with either one. And then you'll be happy with the next one.

Gonff the Mousethief

thanks! I am probably going to read Taggerung, just because of the order.

Do I have to choose? I love them both. :-\

Taggerung.

In fact, you should put off reading Triss as long as possible...

Starla1431

^ Triss was okay. I like both, though.

I say read Taggerung. The book is very good. Plus it has one of those happy/cry endings.

I don't know. I haven't voted yet because they were both so good. I loved the whole Taggerung idea(not the title, but the actual thing about the son and Deyna), but I loved the characters in Triss (specifically Triss, Shogg, and Drufo).
