  I don't mean to offend anyone, I'm just seeing it more as, "Hey, you and I are kinda stuck here, so why not just hang out."  And technically, they state in that episode that it's a younger Hitler who hadn't... oh, how did they phrase it?  Something about how he hadn't done any evil yet.  Or at least not a lot.

Actually Hitler did a LOT of evil even before the holocaust. His entire rise to power was built upon corruption and violence such as allowing the police and SA to attack communists for no apparent reason, intimidating people as they voted, disrupting parliamentary meetings, seizing the trade unions, the Night of the Long Knives etc. Some people speculate that the Nazis also started the Reichstag Fire.

It isn't in very good taste. Maybe I'm being over-sensitive but joking about themes of that nature ticks me off. It's fine when it's not real but we're talking about Hitler who was a very real person who did some very real and very atrocious things. It would have been better to use a Doctor Who villain like Davros, Omega, Rassilon or the Master (Delgado rather than Simm, Delgado forever!)

I know it was not meant to be offensive but as I said in my previous comment, I don't like it when people joke around with Hitler.

Who are we to judge? We have every right to judge Hitler, he massacred people in their thousands and not just Jews, it was them, political opponents, black people, gypsies or if that word offends you, romanis, homosexuals and the disabled. It is not possible not to pass judgement on this man, he deserves all the hate he gets.
