Garth grinned. "It's more insulting to me that I didn't notice them after passing by twice."

"Hmm, that's true." Arya said with a thoughtful look on her face.

Garth picked a few of the roots, biting into one. "Well," he said around the bite in his mouth. "At least it's food." He swallowed. "Shall we continue?"

"Just a second." Arya said, grabbing a few more carrots, but leaving some. "Okay. I'm ready now."

OOC: Shall we time-skip?

OOC: Yeah. Could you do it?

OOC: Certainly. Lol, I saw you hit your PM limit because of your sig.

BIC: Garth stumbled on a root, having been paying attention more to the surrounding area. He knew they were close, because they were walking along the stream that ran near Noonvale. Suddenly, he saw it. "There!" He pointed a little ways to the right, where the buildings of Noonvale could be seen.

[Cornflower MM]

OOC: What? It's a convenient way to let everyone know.

BIC: Arya licked her lips a little nervously, tugging her hood down even further.

[The Skarzs]

OOC: That it is.

BIC: Garth put his arm about Arya's shoulders and squeezed her a bit. "You'll be fine, Arya. The creatures of Noonvale are good beasts." He tried to ignore his growling stomach as they walked closer.

"Well, yes." Arya said, debating whether or not she should tell Garth the main reason she was anxious.

[The Skarzs]

"Why are you so worried?" Garth asked. He knew Arya was concerned about something, but he didn't know what it was.

[Cornflower MM]

"Do you think they'll want me to take off my hood?" Arya quietly asked.

[The Skarzs]

"Do you think they would care how you look? You have a good heart, Arya; that's what counts, and it doesn't matter if they're wrong about you." Garth didn't say anything else, but let the female squirrel think about what he said.

Arya sighed, and kept quiet. For more than one reason - She was thinking about what Garth said, and a mouse had spotted them.
