Arya sighed,"Yes, Shael." Then she went to fetch her bow.

Vicky followed Arya. "We don't mean to ignore you, dear, and I swear we'll all sit down later and talk about the rat who kicked the bucket. Right now, however, there is a slightly more at hand and less ominous threat to deal with." A crazy light bloomed in the otter's eyes. "We get to fight!"

"Okay." Arya sighed, slightly worried about the tone of Vicky's voice when she mentioned fighting.

"Surrender at once!" Hadrian shouted to the other ship. "If you give yourselves up now, I can promise that none of you will be harmed!" He was not sure the other ship heard him, but he had to try to communicate with them. There was a chance that the airship, which was less armed and manned than steel fist, would surrender willingly.

David made a rude gesture in the direction of the other ship (hoping they would see somehow), put his shades back on his face and drew his swords. He wondered why he was doing this, he wondered why he'd joined up with a pirate crew, he wondered why he was fighting, he wondered what his purpose was, he wondered but he never came up with any answers, as always.
"In the meantime, no one should roam the camp alone. Use the buddy system."
"Understood." Will looked at Nico. "Will you be my buddy?"
"You're a dork," Nico announced.

Shael called out to the enemy ship, laughter in his tone. "If you think we'll surrender, you have another think coming!"

"They do not appear to be surrendering," Hadrian said to his lieutenant. "Get the soldiers ready for battle. I will stay here and make sure they don't try anything!"

The liuetenant having ran off to ready the troops, the captain pulled back the trigger on his flintlock pistol. The pirates weren't going to get off easy on Hadrian's watch.

The Skarzs

Dregnar started walking back to his ship, noticing a rather bent-over hedgehog leaning on a cane waiting beside the craft. "That'll be our customer," the cougar noted. "Mr. Spikebutt! Good of you to come collect your items."
"It's 'Spinebottom'!" the hedgehog fumed, shaking his stick in rage. "Just get the stuff packed away; my creatures will help you." He swung the cane to point at several beasts in matching vests waiting to unload Spinebottom's products.
Dregnar waved off his mistake of names. "Very well, Mr. Spinebutt; we'll take them off the ship, and your creatures can take them away. No questions asked, right?"
"None," the hedgehog gritted out.
"Let's get going, then."

Unimaginative

Vlad laughed at Dregnar's antagonism of the Hedgehog, and was still laughing when he started unloading their cargo. "'Tis a wonder that he does business with us when you do stuff like that." he said as he passed Dregnar.

After grabbing her bow, Arya had gone back up to the top deck. She went over to Sael. "Hey, Shael, I had an idea. What if I use one of these?" Here she held up an arrow that was quite effective for crippling ship hulls.

Izeroth

Hadrian ran to the Steel fist's main gun, yelling for his soldiers to get to the lower guns.  Once at it, he lit the fuse. The gun sent up a plume of smoke, but no shot came out of it. The gun's barrel had jammed! Cursing his luck, he went to help the soldiers with the two lesser weapons.

Shael grinned at Arya. "That looks like it'll work!" He patted her on the head. "Let's try it!"

In the meantime, Vicky readied the only large gun on the ship.

Arya grinned, choosing to ignore the fact that Shael patted her on the head. She turned towards the ship and nocked the arrow, drew back her bow, stretched it, then after another moment, let the arrow fly.

The Skarzs

OOC: Might want to mention what that arrow is supposed to do.

BIC: Dregnar shook his head. "A little insulting won't go amiss on that old windbag; besides, he likes stockpiling stuff like this, so I'm sure he's not going to complain. Besides, if he gets upset all I have to do is tell some military officials about his arsenal and he's out for the count." The cougar lifted one of the weapons he was selling: a rifle as long as his arm and just as thick. It was a break-barrel, a new prototype for the experimental projectiles with the powder contained in tidy bronze canisters, rather than pouring the gunpowder and stuff in manually. "Let's get this stuff packed away."
