I think having only a few people could be a good way to go though. It is a style that will produce a very different kind of RP then one with lots of people in it. I believe this kind would end up being neater.  Personally I like the selectiveness of the RP. It is refreshing.

As for St.Ninian it was right down the road from Redwall and would probably be encompassed in the city at this point. Though I think I will go with the legend of Brockhall nowadays it would just be looked upon as legend and more than a little bit exaggerated  .

You should see the other RPs; many people have two characters and aren't too bogged down with the haul. It really depends on the RP experience a person has.
In the end, it's up to the GM.

I've actually been juggling three or more in a few. But, it's up to you.

Plus, if someone goes inactive, it wouldn't be so catastrophic. I don't know; There are pros and cons to both.

Just so you know, this era has more advanced technology, to they have guns. If you want to maybe have a modern composite bow that would be cool, although toting classic Redwall weapons might seem a little out of place ;p you can do what you want but just a suggestion.

I know. I just don't like guns. A modern bow it is!

Alright! Glad to see people are being understanding. I'll just leave a general post rather than replying to everyone individually this time. In my past experience with RPs that had a LOT of people, they became very confusing and convoluted for me, I like the stories to be very focused. So for example, if we only have 4 people (that nubmer including myself) We could end up doing a typical Redwall scenario where there are 2 groups of 2 characters on their own adventure, or perhaps 1 group of 4. Either way, 4 just seems like a good number to me. Also, as far as someone becoming inactive being catastrophic, the way I see it, it doesn't matter how many people are in the RP, if someone becomes inactive half way through, it's going to derail the story a bit in one way or the other.

Anyways, looks like we're just waiting on 1 more person to join If no one else joins by Monday morning I think I'll just call it and start a 3-person RP.

Guys, I'm so so so so sorry, but I've been thinking: I don't think I can join this one, for several reasons. One, I can't keep up with writing loooong posts for this RP and the RP Tournament. Two, I'll probably slow y'all down because of the above reason. Three, I'm just not sure about this idea of modern Mossflower. I mean, don't get me wrong - It sounded super cool when I first saw it, and that's why I signed up, but as I think about it more, I just don't think this RP is for me, y'know?

Well that's pretty disappointing but I understand :\ that leaves me questioning what to because i've already put a lot of time and effort into my posts.
I mean, if Faiyloe wanted i'd be more than happy to continue with just the two of use, but, has anyone even done that here before? Would it be acceptable to continue an RP with just 2 people? We seem to be developing the story quite effectively with just the two of us so far, so, i mean, if it's alright with Faiyloe and there aren't any objections from the forum itself I'd be fine with continuing.

There are two personal RPs - The RP titled Free, with The Skarzs and myself, and the Afdventure to Gadna, in the Cellars. Heck yeah, it's fine for a RP with two players. Why wouldn't it be? And, if you wanted you could pen the signups again.
