I just never want to stretch for new ideas and end up killing my own brand, much like big brands comics that run out of ideas and try to outdo themselves over and over. It's how everything eventually gets into universe-ending threats, time travel, alternate universes, and so on. It gets bland.

Start with all those things, then get more mundane from there.  The readers'll never see it coming.

For real though, it'd be awesome to see you make something like that.
