It's his obligatory burst of insanity in his infrequent visits to the Cellars.

Oh, I see. Well that's what happens when you have limited exposure to insanity!
Dreams, dreams are untapped and writhing. How much more real are dreams than that paltry existence which we now call reality? How shall we ascend to that which humanity is destined? By mastering the dreamworld of course. That is how, my pupils, that is how.

-Sometime later, the second mate was unexpectedly rescued by the subplot, which had been trailing a bit behind the boat (and the plot). The whole story moved along.

Since I can't understand a word you say, there's no point in apologizing for a pun.  ;D

College is stressful!............................. Admittedly, far more interesting as well, but it's still stressful!  ::)

As I'm homeschooled, I must admit that I feel less stressed than most students, but that most certainly doesn't mean I break down crying at least once per week from an overload of work.  I mean, you'd think I'd be fine with just four subjects and three extracurricular activities!  Still, with the amount of reports and essays I have to do, and the fact that my mom doesn't seem to realise that I can't just sit down and write a 500-750 word essay on how the Constitution has affected the modern government in one day, most days I have trouble even getting out of bed.  (Oh, look, run on sentence.)  (Seriously though, why the heck do I have to "visit" five national historic landmarks in my state, telling all about what they have to offer as well as making sure to include the pricing of gas, dining, and lodging?!  And who cares about why I'd ever want my state capitol to be moved to a different city?)

Huh, if public schoolers hate school so much, why are they always trying to get homeschoolers to come? Do any other homeschoolers have that problem? It's kind of annoying.  :P

IS STRESSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the perfect place to vent my frustration. I have been studying for the SATs for all of the past few hours and already I feel like my head is going to explode, Ack. As to the previous question. Yes I am homeschooled and yes I have had to explain the enter thing multiple times to people who are not and don't understand. I have practically memorialized a speech for it by now. "No we are not allowed to cheat on tests, No we could not get away from it even if we wanted, no we do not get snow days off (Though I still have to shovel anyway  >:( ), no we do not get to sleep all day, yes I do my schoolwork in my pajamas," Then there is the "It takes a lot of self discipline to be a homeschooler, you have to be able to do your work on your own and not procrastinate" (Which I am terrible at. Just look at me now fooling around on the forums and avoiding my work... even if it is torture) See what I mean, I have it memorized. Now how come I can't memorizes these SAT strategies? :P
I am back... sort of... maybe... Hi?

Here's my SAT startegy: Take the ACT! It's tons easier. I got a 33 on it last year as a freshman. I'm aiming for a perfect 36 this time...

It is to late for that anyway I can't remember why but I remember having this conversation with my parents and we came to the conclusion that the SAT would be better for me.  :P

Well, both tests are widely accepted, but the general rule is: Colleges on the West Coast love the SAT, colleges on the East Coast and Midwest love the ACT.

I think I'll be taking the ACT. My older brother did that. My older sister is eighteen, but she hasn't taken either test. And she's still planning on going to college, although she could have started college a year ago if she had cared about it. I think she's living in denial. Sometime I wonder just which one of us has the eighteen-year-old head on their shoulders. ::)

...I'm in high school, but I have hardly anything to do this year. Just math, English, social studies, and science, plus The Count of Monte Cristo and maybe a few other books later this year. My four main subjects are just workbooks, and I don't have to do any reports or anything like that.

Now, reading over this thread, I feel lazy. :P
