This is a topic to write letters to the forum in. Not the forum members, or the mods. The actual forum.

Dear Forum,
I feel so connected to you. too connected, in fact. I think we should part ways. But I just can't. It's like I'm literally glued to you. Why do you have to be so wonderful? I know, if anything ever happened to you, I would die of a broken heart.
But what's this you told me in our last correspondence? You're busy, with the other members? Who are these other members? They don't happen to be, intimate friends, do they? Please, say no. I couldn't bear to lose you! After all we've been through! I still love you!
I am so so so sincerely sorry about my prolonged absence not long ago. Believe me when I tell you it was all just a misunderstanding. I will always be there for you.
My dearest love,
Mask :-*

Can we be serious, or is it just joking around?
Was anyone else on the old DAB forum, circa 2009? I was recently reminded of it, lol.

Bitterly jittery, and not very glittery.

Awesome.

Forum,
You saved my life, y'know that? I met you during a pretty rough time, and if it hadn't been for you... Well, Idunno. I wouldn't be who I am now, that's for sure. (Aka, I wouldn't be a crazy chick who's only friends exist online) But you get my drift. So, thanks.

I like this a lot. I
I've traveled to the far reaches of the galaxy Internet, and have found little but harsh words and bad company. Perhaps it was just the hostile environment, but I feel like at this forum, I've finally found I place to "settle down", and it's been before my eyes this whole time. I'm thankful for this forum and for its thoughtful and kind members.
Even if for whatever reason I one day leave, I will always remember this place.

BTW, Mask, if you ever really write a love letter, don't subtly accuse the other party of cheating. There would be issues.

Hahaha, didn't realize that. Yeah, not the best idea.

Yeah, I know. That would be terrible xD

Hang on. Do you mean 'saved my life' literally?

Perhaps lets not go there Rus.

Dear Forum,
Thank you very much for your contribution to my life. I've made many friends and you have become something I look forward to meeting everyday. You've inspired me to start drawing again( I'll show you as soon as my scanner starts working!) and given me hours of entertainment  *Cough* Match made in Heaven*cough*
So all in all, Thanks!

Mainly figuratively.

It can be a very important place to go, though it isn't always. Sad as it may be, just ignoring that kind of thing after you know it's occurring can cause pain, potentially even cost lives. It may be an uncomfortable and depressing topic, but the alternative is infinitely worse- Even if no physical harm occurs, depression is a serious thing and no-one should have to live with it if it's at all possible to alleviate it.

@Blue: Figurative is miles better than literal. Regardless, I'm glad our wonderful corner of the internet is helpful.

Nicest corner of the internet I've found so far.
