The thread is OPEN!

What it's about:
Forgive me for not making up a specific story, but I really just want to make it up as we go. I guess you could say it's about a pawful of beasts, each with different reasons for travelling, are going where the wind takes them. If you have a problem with this we can make up a decent story. I really don't care, as long as long as the characters have enough freedom.

So far we have...
Me (Zelda)
BlueRose (Elise/Aleezz)
Gonff the Mousethief (Marshall Scottsworth)
Morgazath (Varo "Windstreak")
HanNorwood (Somerled (Somer) Faelan)

My character sheet:

Name: Zelda
Species: Rat (By the way, it doesn't matter what species.)
Age: Young Adult
Weapon: Sling, a medium length axe, and a smaller axe. Her sling is beautifully crafted with a brown seat (the place where the stone sits).
Appearance (fur, eyes, body type, figure, etc.):Black and white ratmaid with silky fur.  Large and tall.
Basically the black and white one here.

Outfit: A plain gray tunic. Medium length sleeves. Dark gray belt for her sling and maybe a pouch or two. Over it she wears an old dark gray cloak that goes halfway down her legs if it's cold. She also owns a few other clothing items. She normally goes barefoot, but owns sandals.
Personality: She can be sarcastic and little rude when irritated, but knows when to stop. She will not trust anyone very easily, but she is true to her own word. She will do what she can to help others. If in a good mood she is cheerful and talkative.
Strengths: A good fighter. Not easily fooled. Adept with her weapons.
Weaknesses: Her sarcasm sometimes sounds a little more rude than she meant it to be. For some reason she is bad with a bow, but good with a sling.
History: Ran away from somewhere. You'll find out more as we go. I can tell you OOC if you want, though.

Forgive me if it's not very good, it's my first Redwall RP and I thought of the character a short time ago.  ::)

We are starting on the shores near Salamandastron. I'll start the thread as soon as I roll out of bed tomorrow.

Gonff the Mousethief

Sounds like a good idea. Oh, and welcome to the forum! Later today I will post my character. I think this RP will be cool!
I want the world of Tolkien,
The message of Lewis;
The adventure of Jacques,
And the heart of Milne.
But I want the originality of me.

ShrewsForever

Thanks for the welcome! Looking forward to seeing your character.

Unimaginative

I sorta like the idea of this, which is that it is a 'create your own adventure' to the max. I'll make a sheet later.

Welcome to the forum, Shrew!

Character Sheet:
Name: Elise (Aleezz, really, but she doesn't expect anyone to properly pronounce her name and that's OK.)
Species: Yellow tree monitor
Age: Only Elise knows, however, she's old enough that it looks almost like truth when she says she is older than the travels of the sun. Which she does, on a fairly regular basis when traveling with others.
Weapon: She carries a worn walking stick of very light, strange wood, as well as a pouch of not-quite lethal poison darts that she shoots through a tiny set of panpipes.
Appearance (fur, eyes, body type, figure, etc.): Tada. That. Only old looking.
Outfit: She wears a short yellow burlap tunic, belted with rope, and carries a haversack filled with all manner of mysterious things.
Personality: She has a "wise one" sort of attitude due to her age, but she's cheerful instead of stodgy, as you'd expect of her age.
Strengths: She can sing well when she feels like it, and she can heal minor wounds with speed and accuracy.
Weaknesses: She's old, and can't move very quickly in a fight unless she's in a tree or very warm. She can't move at all when cold.
History: She had a long, normal life, and is now on a search for an old friend whom she claims to have known in a past life as well as the beginning of this one.
Was anyone else on the old DAB forum, circa 2009? I was recently reminded of it, lol.

Bitterly jittery, and not very glittery.

Nice character, and thank you!

By the way, when do you guys wanna start? Too many people is confusing. Maybe we could start tomorrow or so and let newer people come in the RP when the time is right.

Gonff the Mousethief

Name: Marshall Scottsworth
Species: Fox (A good one)
Age: 27
Weapons: A double bladed iron axe, with the handle wrapped in worn out leather and tipped with a blue jem, A recurve bow, beautifully polished and made with oak wood, and a Sgian Dubh that is also tipped with a blue jem.
Appearance: His fur is a deep rich blue. His eyes are also blue. The very top of his right ear is gone, and has no tail, just a stub. Many scratches aline his back and a long one across his stomach.
Outfit: He wears a simple blue tunic, black cape, and a leather belt. His hood is also black. On his head he wears a simple raccoon hat.
Personality: He is a cheerly fellow. Usually has a smile on his face or whistling a tune. When fighting, he goes into s mode where all he cares about is surviving and killing.
Strengths: Excellent Archer. Also good and axe swinging and blade throwing. Very swift abd quite on his feet.
Weaknesses: Not a very good talker. When being introduced to new people, he gets very shy. Not a very good sword or mace worker.
History: No one really knows where he came from. He usually travels and goes where he pleases, but has a home at Redwall.
I want the world of Tolkien,

The adventure of Jacques,
And the heart of Milne.

Morgazath

"The power of darkness is mine. At last I am free to reign destruction as I please. This world will be consumed, and you will be crushed. I am Mozaru, Lord of Night and Shadow." -Excerpt from The Chronicles of Light and Darkness. (A book I'm writing.)

Morgazath

 Thanks! ;D

Here's my character sheet.

Gender: Male

Name: Varo "Windstreak"

Species: Fox

Age: Young Adult

Weapon: Two daggers with black pommels and blood-red emeralds set into the crosspieces. The blood-gullets in the sliver blades are jet-black. For long distance fighting, Varo uses a black crossbow with poisoned bolts.

Appearance: Silver fur, emerald green eyes, and a small but stocky body build.

Outfit: A black robe at the top, and black pants at the bottom. A hood covers his face, so you can't see it clearly. Black gloves. Black greaves on the legs and arms for protection. Has chainmail hidden under the robe on his chest.

Personality: Varo is shy, and doesn't talk much.

Strengths: Good aim with the crossbow. Skilled fighter, very fast an agile when fighting with the daggers.

Weaknesses: Likes to fight alone, no matter what the numbers are.

History: Former assassin from a guild called the Black River. Didn't wish to kill for money or pleasure any longer. Killed the leader and fled.

BlueRose

All black? Crikey. That's like saying "I'm a target, shoot me!" during the daytime.

Sure, it looks nice, but it's impractical as all get-out.
