Well it is a protests backing up the Mexican Movement "Sin Maíz No Hay País" whose objective is to fight against a newly promulgated law that forces the Water Industry into the private management. For what I can gather, the protest is also aimed at the company "Monsanto".

Honestly, I'm not very into another countries' problems, but that's is what it seems to be happening there.

Ok so, I have done some deeper research and this is actually what is happening there: The aforementioned company "Monsanto" is part of a movement presented alongside with other companies such as Pionner-Dupont, Dow Agro-Siences and Syngenta Agro to monopolize the food industry (among other things) on México.

They ARE involved with genetically modified food, yeah, and that's one of the main focuses of controversy due to certain sources quoting dangerous materials that these companies seem to be using on their researches (such as herbicides and pesticides).

Now the problem doesn't stop there, does it? Since Monsanto and the like are going to control the food industry, a lot of farmers are going to lose their lands due to being unable to compete with the -most efficient- methods used by those companies.

Now, Monsanto is a HIGHLY repudiated company worldwide, with protests against it happening in various places, so yeah, these people are fighting against something that is being fought to in a lot of other places as well.

It can be translated as «Get out of Here». But it could also be translated as "Don't mess with the Mexican crops".
