Thank you... Very much. I deeply appreciate this.

I really hope that what I have posted has caused someone to think. Being a self-styled philosopher, this is as such one of my main goals, and so I have done my best to get everyone to think about what they are doing, who they are, and who they wish to become. If I have caused one person to take extra consideration about what they previously accepted, I have not posted in vain. If I have helped one person to realize more deeply the nature of good, evil, actions, and the pursuit of character as a goal, I rejoice. If I have brought hope for the furture to one person, if I have helped them for one second of one day to pass through some trial by looking and working towards a better future as a better person, my mission as a representative is a success.

My hope is that each of you truly becomes a better person. What goal is more durable or worthwhile?

EDIT: ^^ Oh, hey look, I'm being all philosophical again. How very dramatical of me.
"'Tis the business of small minds to shrink, but he whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves his conduct, will pursue his principles unto death."
-Thomas Paine

"Integrity and firmness is all I can promise; these, be the voyage long or short, shall never forsake me although I may be deserted by all men."
-George Washington

Courage: Not only the willingness to die manfully, but also the determination to live decently.

Kitsune

We should have a philosophical discussion sometime. ;)

Gonff the Mousethief

Oh My! Thank you ever so much Madam Blade! This means absolutely the world to me! Thank you over a  million times!
I want the world of Tolkien,
The message of Lewis;
The adventure of Jacques,
And the heart of Milne.
But I want the originality of me.

Jukka the Sling

Thank you so much, Skye! It really means a lot to me. :) (Though in real life I'm not really that great. :P :-\)
"The world is indeed full of peril, and in it there are many dark places; but still there is much that is fair, and though in all lands love is now mingled with grief, it grows perhaps the greater." ~J.R.R. Tolkien

Lady Amber

Awww, thanks Sky! This is really nice of you! :) I really appreciate it.

Skyblade

I appreciate these comments :) You are all very welcome! ^^

@Wylder: You have an amazing ideology, and I admire you (not in that way, anyone who may be reading :P). By the way, you have affected me, especially with that one post. So thank you for what you said. By the way, you have so many well-written posts.

Actually, I know how you feel. It's very interesting, actually. But I bet you are an admirable person in and out of the screen.

Thanks, MatthiasMan, for the avatar!

I'm sure that would be wonderfully unbearable for everyone else.

@Sky: Thanks. I try.

The funny thing is, I feel like there are two different mes. One is the high-flown, dramatic, philosophical, sciency type, the one that loves big words and writes lengthy posts to explain things. Then, there is the practical, down to earth one, that accepts everything the philosophicky one says, but actually applies it. This me laughs at the pretensions of the other me, and is the better one for practical advice about non-idealogical things. The philosopher will give you a speech, the practical one wil give you applications and steps to achieve the stuff the philosopher only talks about.

I guess it's a good thing I have both. Still, My philosophy posts always make me laugh (and wince) when I read them a second time.

That sounds helpful as well as interesting :) Perhaps we all have different sides, which combine in some way to make everyone the person (s)he is.

Eulaliaaa!

Thanks Sky, that just made my day  ;D
Just pretend there is something interesting and unique written here... I have nothing to say.

Skyblade

You're very welcome :) I'm glad to hear that!

Wot, wot!

Thank you so much Skye! You're so kind and awesome!
"Get him! Grab that spy! I want his head!"
Basil chuckled. "What's the matter? Isn't your own head good enough? No, I don't suppose it is. Ugly-looking brute, aren't you?" -Basil to Cluny the Scourge (Redwall)

You're always welcome, Wot :) And thank you too.

Thanks for inflating my ego!  ;D

Really, though. Thank you so much. I think you broke my depression.

Cos I'd forgotten how to sail" - The Gardener , The Tallest Man on Earth

Delthion

For some strange and ludicrous reason, I find that being minorly depressed is comforting. I don't know why, or how though. ;D ;D
Dreams, dreams are untapped and writhing. How much more real are dreams than that paltry existence which we now call reality? How shall we ascend to that which humanity is destined? By mastering the dreamworld of course. That is how, my pupils, that is how.
