Eulaliaaa!

Rowan jumped slightly, then started up the stairs. She had always found Brother Melvious absolutely terrifying, and wasn't about to hang around for him to find them.

With Cailoh leading the way the young miscreants fled up the dormitory steps before Melvious could reach them. Rounding a corner they found themselves in a long passage with closed doors behind which were many sleeping Abbey creatures.
"Come on this way." Cailoh told his friends in a loud whisper. They continued their flight done the hall.

OOC: Rowan sees it next disappearing into a old storage closest a little ways away from them.

Vurrsca left the door open striding into a large round chamber. A small fire burned in the corner giving off a sickening smell while strange grisly objects hung from the ceiling and leaned against the walls.

An old vixen with ragged clothes and bone jewelry slid over to him her eyes rolling crazily.
"I'th meee masteeer reeeady?" She asked in a strange whistling voice. Vurrsca let his eyes wander over to a stone table where a rat was laid out. The creature was strapped down yet it struggled to escape violently. Usually a woodlander was strapped there but if one was unavailable Silth would choose a vermin creature from his small force.

"But of course." He growled.

Rowan chuckled, running down the hall. She stopped, "Look, look! I saw it, it went into that closet!" She exclaimed.

Melvious heard Rowan's excited voice. Not able to pick out exactly what she said he ran up the stairs hoping to catch whoever it was that was out of bed. He found himself in a empty corridor. The big squirrel looked around confused, guessing the miscreants had escaped to their rooms he tiptoed back down stairs.

                            -----------------------------------------
"Okay he's gone." Cailoh whispered too the others. He had been peering under the door of the storeroom. Standing up he glanced around. It was an average looking room, dark filled with brooms and old cloths for cleaning.

"You sure it came from here?" Cailoh asked Rowan looking around unconvinced.

"Of course I'm sure, I saw it here!" She said, looking around the room, "I don't see anything now... wonder where it is now." She said.

"I can't see a thing in this gloom," Cailoh complained carefully sifting though old cleaning supplies. "I wonder why it led us in here?" He said to no one in particular.

The rat lay still, it had finally died from the gruesome injuries Silth had inflicted upon it. The door guards looked on, the ferret was disgusted having turned her head away as her once fellow comrade was torn. The lizard seemed to enjoy the bloodshed it long tongue flicking in and out.

Holding the rats still warm heart in her bloody claws she dropped it into a crystal glass chanting as she did.

"Immortal oneee takeee theee blood of this fools life and drink so theee days neeveer eend." Vurrsca took the cup and drank deeply much to the disgust of the ferret guard. Letting the crystal cup fall Vurrsca turned and walked out remarking as he did.

"I will have to tell my runners to find more woodlanders, their blood tastes sweeter."

OOC: So when I first typed this out I described what Silth did to the rat including every bone snap and rip of the flesh, I then proceeded to erase it all deciding it was a little too overboard. :P

OOC: Yes?, I'm guessing your wondering what's up with the broom closet. Well basically there's going to be a little poem carved into the stone somewhere in the back, Liko can find it if you want but because its dark he wont be able to read it. As of right now its hidden by piles of brooms and cleaning whatnots.

OOC: how are they gonna find it if they can't see it? Maybe Rowan could open the door a crack and let some light in?

OOC: Sure, or you can find a lantern in the closet or bring In a candle from outside or any other way that comes to mind. But first I need someone to find it without waking the entire Abbey. ;)

Eulaliaaa!

OOC: ok

BIC: Rowan reached around on the floor, "There's got to be something to help us see. Oh, wait a second, I can go sneak downstairs and get a lantern. Hopefully Brother Melvious won't see me." She said, darting out of the closet. Only moments later she returned, breathing heavily and holding a lantern, "I got it," she gasped, "And I don't think he saw me."

"Great," Cailoh said in a excited whisper. "Lets find whatever it is Martin wanted  us to find. Hehe sure would be funny if Martin's sword has been lost in a closet the whole time." Cailoh joked. He began quietly moving the assortment of items and laying them gently down near the door.

OOC: Let's do this.

BIC: Liko was shifting the various cleaning supplies when he put his hand on a broom, leaning slightly forward as he caught his breath. The lose broom suddenly slid and he fell forward, brushing his paw against the wall. Dust flew up around him as he coughed.

"Ack! Don't lean on any brooms, mate. Wait a minute..."

He leaned closer to inspect the wall, feeling it experimentally. "There's something on this wall..."

Rowan immediately left off searching through a pile of brooms and was at Liko's side in an instance, "What is it? What'd you find?" She asked.

"Dunno. Bring the lantern over here." He stepped back out of the closet, allowing the others room.
