Anybody else read these books?  They're really enjoyable.  I recently started the fourth series, and am writing a oneshot about the death of a certain character from the third series.

Anyway, yeah!  Who else is a fan?

Skyblade

I read these when I was younger. They are cool :)

Have you read the latest ones?  The one I'm reading was published in 2014, and I believe there's several that have yet to be released.

No, I read only the first few. I heard there are more, but I thought there were too many and I don't have time :P

What are the new series? What are they about?

I tried reading these a while back, but I never really liked them. I read the Hobbit a couple of days later.  :P
I want the world of Tolkien,
The message of Lewis;
The adventure of Jacques,
And the heart of Milne.
But I want the originality of me.

Besides the first series, there's Cahills vs. Vespers, Unstoppable, and Doublecross.  They're about the various times Amy and Dan have to save the world.

How many did you read?  For the most part, I think they're really good.  Sometimes a bit far fetched, but good.

How many times do the same two people save the world? ;D

Still sounds cool, though.

. . . . . THERE ARE FOUR SERIES?! I just recently found out about series #2! I've read a few books here and there - I only stumble on one occasionally in the library and thin, 'Oh, hey, these are cool.' And get them/it.

In the second series, they have to stop a guy who's gonna manipulate the world's weather (if I remember correctly) and has captured a bunch of hostages.  Third series, it's a billionaire who has access to the secret... thing (no spoilers if you haven't finished the first series) and is gonna run for president so he can then take over the world.  Fourth series, a guy who was once one of the Cahill family threatens to cause a bunch of worldwide disasters, and Amy and Dan and their friends have to stop him.

Despite the plots' sounding somewhat cliché, the books are really interesting.

If your library doesn't have them all, you could always go online and place a hold on another library's copies.

I have no clue how most of them are by - Or even the titles! I know I;ve read books one and two of the first series, oh, and fve. I think. And in the second series, I found the first one a while ago, can't find it now,  and another one. . . . Not sure which.

Kinda sorta description of the opother Cahills vs Vespers book

It's the one where they find out who NSR [I think.] is. They're in Russia. . . . . ? Non, wrong book. Wait, it's the one where the find out Sinead is the mole. And the whole Voynich thing.

I looked at Wikipedia, and that was the fifth Cahills vs. Vespers book, Trust No One.  If you need a list of the books, look at the Wikipedia page.  Be careful not to read the plot outlines, though (unless you want major spoilers)!

Double post, but I felt I should warn you guys.

I recently got the newest book, Mission Hindenburg, from the library, and the first few chapters were fine.  Until, without any warning, it revealed that one of the major characters is homosexual.  I was extremely shocked and disappointed, and I am not going to read any of the new books.  Seriously, there was nothing before this that would make you think the guy was gay.

So, yeah.  All the books before that are fine, though, so if you're a Bible-believer, you don't need to worry about anything worse than kissing.

@Jet:  Please stay out of this. :)  I saw that you were posting, and I really don't want to argue about this, okay?  It's my topic, and I don't want it to be locked.

Not trying to argue anything, don't worry.

That's probably the point.

The author of the first book in the series has a major character in his other series who's gay so I'm honestly not surprised.

Also that was a spoiler.
"In the meantime, no one should roam the camp alone. Use the buddy system."
"Understood." Will looked at Nico. "Will you be my buddy?"
"You're a dork," Nico announced.
