We have the magic school bus, we don't need to cut our fun short. Besides, we haven't even gone to the South Island yet. *starts digging trench around sand turtle, piling the excess sand on the inner side of the trench for a wall to protect it from the incoming tide*

*Gets carried away and starts digging a hole straight down in the sand*

*Watches Kade dig straight back to the U.S.*

The real danger is when he gets close to the core.

*drags Kade out of hole and takes shovel off him* For goodness sake! Look at the mess you've made! Sand everywhere and a huge hole in the middle of the beach! Let's go before the incoming tide sweeps us away. *heads up the beach, dragging Kade behind*

It wouldn't make a difference if you were an upside down staircase, you still can't dig ridiculously huge holes in the middle of the beach.

*keeps dragging Kade until they reach the grass, then drops him* Lunch time. There's meat pies or leftover hangi food.

*puts plate of food in front of Kade* It's not like I'm preventing you from doing anything good. I'm just trying to protect you and New Zealand. You were digging on a beach, for goodness sake. The tide was coming in and that hole would have filled up with water, drowning you. We don't want Miss Russa to be accused of neglect. Eat up. Hobbiton is planned for this afternoon. *sits down and begins to eat*
