In this game, you say some basic historical facts about a historical figure, and the next person attempts to guess it, then says his own hints. And that's how the game works. (Note: If it's still alive, it doesn't count as historical.)

Example:

Player One: I was born on Corsica, I had two wives, The first one could not bear child, I discovered the Rosetta Stone.

Player Two: Napoleon!

I'll start! I expanded the Roman Empire, I was unable to conquer Gaul, I had epic last words, My back hurts now.

Jukka the Sling

Julius Caesar!

I was some king's third wife, and I bore him his only son.

Jane Seymour.

I ruled England for nine days before I was usurped and executed by my predecessor's sister.

"Understood." Will looked at Nico. "Will you be my buddy?"
"You're a dork," Nico announced.

Jukka the Sling

Lady Jane Grey.

I was a flirt who was romantically involved with two different leaders.  I had twins, and later I committed suicide.

Um, Cleopatra? (dunno if she had children.)

I had a bad reputation among my wives, who DON'T live to tell the tale. I seperated holy men from each other.
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

Jukka the Sling

(Yup, Cleopatra.)

Henry VIII.

A guy from England with two children who wrote many books for kids.  He died four years ago.

 Brian Jacques?

I was the King of France for 19 years. My reign didn't end well, and I died at the guillotine.

Jukka the Sling

(Yep.)

Louis XVI?

I was an Englishman who discovered three laws.

Probably Newton.

A king who was horribly misrepresented because of Shakespeare.

We sailed down the Missisipi, and met many Indians. We were on past French territory.

ninja'd: Macbeth. (Though "All of them" might be a better response.)

Lewis & Clark?

I crossed the sea and in a nine-hour battle, slew a usurper.

I have no idea but mine wasn't Hamlet or Macbeth.

James Gryphon

Like I said, were there any portrayals of his that weren't ahistorical?
