Steampunk RP Discussion/Sign ups!

Hey. I mentioned in the RP revivial thread that I was thinking of making a Steampunk RP, so here you go!

EDIT: Here's the proper plot.

It's 1908, Mossflower country, and the Kutor Empire, established by the long-dead Abbess Janith, is under attack by a rogue group of military soldiers. The heart of the empire, the city of Gednar, is plagued by street gangs and insurgents. Only a crack team of Long Patrol hares, a mismatched group of civilians, and a mercenary band can stop the rebels. They need *your* help!

EDIT: The technology will be all normal steampunk, except for this one plot point in the story (mwah ahhahah)

Since playing a rebel civilian is boring, that is not an option. (unless you want it. )

 Interesting.... I might join this. I'm curious, though: what sort of animals would the Darwinists fabricate?

In the Leviathan series, they use "hydrogen breathers", which are giants hollow animals, the Leviathan itself being a sort of whale, as air vehicles. The Russians fight with huge fighting bears, the kraken is like a battleship, etc.

I've never read The Leviathan, and my steampunk experience is pretty limited. Like, Shade's RP. And one other. . . . Anyway, fabricated animals? Whaaat? *Scratches head* My knowledgew goes as far as inventing fancy, probably impossible gadgets.

Yeah. It doesn't seem to me like the Leviathan series would translate well to a Redwall setting. Animals fabricating animals? Calling themselves Darwinists when that word means absolutely nothing to them?

You have a point. I'll change the Darwinist side, so it's more humane. Perhaps, they simply domesticate simpler, more docile animals? It happened in Rakkety tam.
