Should the vermin meet the Redwallers?

Yeah!!
Not yet...When we're further into the roleplay. c:

"Everyrat jack n' crew member be here Cap'n" Saltooth called from beside the gangplank. "Jus' awaitin' th order to move out." His tail flicked at the steersrat grinned broadly. Even the prospect of reentering the woodlands couldn't put the searat down. Jabbing his tongue into the hole where his missing tooth used to be the rat felt the wind change, blowing his whiskers in the opinionate direction. The winds of fate were changing, he knew it.

OOC-
Lol. It does seem like he'd say that.
And oops!
My bad.
IC-
"Alright, everybeast. Move out!" Rapshade snapped, leading the way down the gangplank. He drew his sabre as soon as his footpaws reached the grass and pointed with it in the direction of the Redwall.
"We're headed that way. Jetfur, the plan is that we get inside an' take control of the building, and kill anybeast who resists us. That should be most if not all of them." The ferret chuckled.
"I feel like we're gonna win."

OOC:
@Sagetip: Are Bracklew and Jetfur going to fight instead? If so...
@Sandpaw: Can One-Ear fight Saltooth?

BIC:
One-Ear pointed at the leaving pirates.
"Skipper, soon as they're gone, go free those slaves. Duncan, you ready?"

*Short, meaningless timeskip so that the pirates have left*

Hickory

OOC: I'm good with that.

Duncan v. Rapshade
Jetfur v. Bracklew
One-ear v. Saltooth
No one for poor SKipper to fight....

OOC-
Rapshade will need more than one old hare to finish him off...
I can't fight myself the whole time! And Bracklew swore that he wants them both dead so. XD
Skip can help with the extra pirates ;)

LT Sandpaw

OOC: Hm, I suppose it will work out in the end. Bracklew realistically wont be able to defeat a pirate on his own. But I'm cool with him taking out Jetfur. At this point Bracklew has sworn to kill ever single pirate on the ship sooo... Ya.

BIC:

"Alright mates." Skipper whispered as the last of the pirates disappeared into the woodlands. "Wait for me on shore, see ye in a jiffy." Then without a splash the big otter disappeared into the river swimming powerfully upstream towards the ship.

OOC: I know! Rapshade killed Mixy, so both Bracklew and Duncan can kill Rapshade and the hordes of released slaves can beat down jetfur with his own whip! Cliche!

OOC: If One-Ear ends up killing Saltooth, he could throw the sword of Martin to Bracklew and he could use that to fight Rapshade.

Vadoma vs.Mortembell: Grudge match of the century.

Also. In three days time ill be going on a two week holiday. Its a camp, so I wont have a computer. Obviously, I can't ask you to put the whole thing on hold, just don't start the whole final battle at sea thing without me. Ashleg, could you take over my characters for me? So long as you don't get One-Ear and Mortembell killed/captured, I'm cool with it. If Mortembell meets Fangfang again, she's feeling pretty sorry. That's all from me, but I'll still be here the next three days.

BIC:
One-Ear watched Skipper disappear from view. He held a claw to his lips and, dragging Redfang behind him. He crawled towards the gangplank. He peered onto the ship and cursed. There were more pirates than he thought. Still, between the three of them they could get it done. He ducked back into the bushes as a sentry sauntered down the gangplank. Typical drunk vermin. He silently crept behind the rat and twirled the sling, knocking the sentry flat. The young fox dragged the rat into the bushes.

Ashleg

OOC-
That should work.
@Groddil
Who're you callin' Ashley, you crazyhead?! XD
IC-
Rapshade smirked as they approached the Abbey.
The ferret drew his sabre. "Okay, so this is th' plan. We break in an' attack anybeast who opposes us--kill 'em, if ya will." He stopped at the gate and looked up. Nobeast was on guard, good.
"I think I'm skinny enough t' reach through the bars an' unlock it. Unless any of you think y' could get in quicker?"

"Don't kill him," Duncan warned, though his voice was barely more than a whisper.
The weasel Duskfur paced around on deck with a spear, alongside two more vermin.
Duncan pointed at them.
"We'll have t' get through those guys. They don't look that threatening. One-Ear, do you think you can take 'em while I go with Skipper to see if my daughter's alright?"

Bobbing up alongside the ship Skipper took in a few quick gulps of air having been submerged for most of the journey over to the ship. Shaking a few drops of water off his whiskers the otter swam up to the port side of the vessel reaching up and taking a quick look inside. The porthole he had come to was occupied by a female hedgehog who blinked owlishly at the otter face that had appeared next to her.

"Hullo miss," Skipper said shortly. "Anybeast in there named Mixy or Bracklew?" The hedgehog nodded point behind her a ways. Nodding his thanks Skipper released the porthole and swam down the side of the ship popping his head in at the next. This one contained a sleeping mouse. Going to the next Skipper saw a ragged vole, and at the next a worn looking squirrel. Skipper was about to move on when the squirrel looked up, excitement on his face.

"Skipper, Skip its me Bracklew!" Skipper peered closly at the squirrel's face recognizing the young Abbey ward.

"Hey Lew matey, didn't recognize ye. Me n' Duncan n' yer friend One-ear are here to rescue ye. Take this n' get yerself an as many slaves as possible loose." Skipper passed Bracklew the makeshift lockpick. "I'm'a goin' back to help Duncan an' Oney, hurry n' get yerself out mate."

"Skip wait," Bracklew hissed, the momentary joy at seeing a fellow Redwaller fading from his face. "There's something I need you to tell Duncan-"

"Sorry mate, no time." Skipper dove away swimming around the ship to where the two Redwaller's were beginning their assault.

"Left some pirates fer me eh mates?" He asked loading his sling.

"Cap'n th' door be made out O' wood planks, ye c'n never reach though it. Though we may be able to slip a sword though th' gap in th' planks." Saltooth said drawing his sword and testing it in his paw. "An' we c'n send some O' th' crew over th' back wall, an 'ave th'm attack from th' rear." Saltooth needed as few pirates around as possible if he was to commit his murder. Deviding the force would provide ample space to deliver the fatal blow. Then the pirates could retreat back to the ship and onto the main.

OOC:
@Ashley XD, Don't worry things will happen before Saltooth actually makes his attempt to kill Rapshade. So you don't have to worry about that happening.

OOC-
Nooo, who is this Ashley you speak of?! ;) XD
And okay. Rapshade needs to hide because the whole world wants to kill him. ;P
IC-
"Yep," Duncan said, beginning to inch closer to the gangplank.
"There's a weasel and a couple rats. Let's get 'em."

--

Rapshade's eye twitched as Saltooth made his remark.
"A sword...Addlebrain! If you're so perfect than why don't you do it, eh, mate? Go on!" He snapped, shoving the rat forward. "An' hurry up!"

One-Ear twirled his sling and loosed the first stone. He twirled the sling and Duskfur's eyes rolled back in head. He twirled the sling again at the rats, but missed. One-Ear cursed as the rats ran down the gangplank. One of them ran towards OneEar, spear raised in rage. The fox drew his sword in time and blocked the spear thrust. He flicked the katana and the spear went flying. One-Ear smacked the rat a stunning blow with the flat of his blade and brought the loaded sling over the rat's head. Where was the other rat?

Ashleg

OOC-
*Duskfur
Aww, I was gonna RP him. But whatever.

IC-
"What's goin' on out there?" Fang asked, about to go help Duskfur and the rats when Vadoma came out of the shadows and blocked him with her forearm.
"All you do is screw things up, rat," the vixen hissed, pushing him back some. "They can handle whatever it is...And if needed, I will. We don't need your "help"."

LT Sandpaw

"Gaah, alright Cap'n alright." Saltooth yelled finding himself at the front of the crowd of pirates. "'Ey Frogeye get or'e here n' help me." Together the two searats approached the gate eyeing the wall top nervously. Frogeye's bad eye watered in a nervous way, forcing him to blink. Drawing Martin's sword the steersrat shoved it between the planks sliding it up. A solid crack could be heard as the blade came into contact with the wooden spar.

"Got 'ere now ye grab here n' help me lift up."

"Right, so move over, I ain't grabbin' no sword blade mate."

"Tis a small sword, jus' grab th' pommel why don' ye."

"To slippery."

"Fine th'n use yer sword." Saltooth retracted Martin's sword and Frogeye put his broadsword into the gap. Together the two rats heaved upward. A loud crash sounded as the wooden spar locking the gate fell inward. The gate swung open leaving the entrance to Redwall wide open.

Skipper's sling stone buzzed past One-ear colliding with the final rat's shoulder. The creature spat out in pain dropping the dagger he was abut to gut the young fox with. Skipper rushed forward kicking the searat to the floor. It squirmed helplessly as the big otter leaned down grinning broadly.

"Ahoy mates, we got ourselves a live one 'ere. Should we leave him conscious or should I send 'Im to th' land O' th' sleepin'?"

"Don' kill me please!" Squealed the rat covering face with his good paw.
