Should the vermin meet the Redwallers?

Yeah!!
Not yet...When we're further into the roleplay. c:

"You killed my mates..." Fang's eyes began to water and he shot One-Ear a harsh glare.
"'Ow do you know what they deserved if you've ne'er even met them? You said you were better, but yer not! Yer even worse!" The rat raised his voice as he spoke till he was nearly screaming at the end. "Y'know what, Fox?! I 'ope Cap'n DOES take Redwall! You're such a liar!"
He held back a sob and angrily stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind him as loudly as he could.

Duncan watched Fangfang leave and then turned to One-Ear with cloudy eyes.
"I know what happened...Bracklew told me." he said quietly, shaking his head.
Suddenly his voice grew stern.
"You can't change the past, but you can mend it. If I were you, I'd go apologize to the rat."

Groddil

The fox picked up his blade.
"I know what I did was wrong, but I cannot apologize for it. They were evil, murderin' scum, every one of 'em, and how Fangfang could call 'em his mates is beyond me. They got what they deserved, unjust as it was."

"Oy where ye going Cap'n?" Saltooth yelled angrily s he retreated from the double front created by both Ava and Mortembell. "There's like three O' them an' loads of us. Ye cowards!" The crew ran after Rapshade leaving Saltooth alone with a skimpy looking stoat named Begskin who had been to thick to figure out they were retreating. Deciding on the better part of valor Saltooth pushed Begskin into Moretmbell and hightailed it out of the Abbey.

"Your right One-ear!" Bracklew shouted his temper rising. "You left me and Mixy alone while you chased off after some stoat. She might still be alive if you had decided to wait on your revenge and help us!" Bracklew knew he was being unreasonable, however having somebeat to blame was gratifying. Clenching his teeth he pointed a accusing claw at the fox.

"Your nothing but common. Murdering. Selfish. Vermin!"

"Brack!" Skipper barked warningly stepping in-between the squirrel and fox, Bracklew had advanced slightly holding up his fists. "We're all angry ov'r th' loss O' Mixy, but ye ought to know better then to start throwin' blame and putting strife where it ain't needed."

"Then just go say something to get him on our side again," Duncan murmured.
"I'll help with the slaves, you get the rat. He probably has good information."

Groddil

One-Ear stared at Bracklew with contempt.
"I get the point, I'm a wretched vermin from Hellgates that doesn't deserve life, but I'm not the one that did this. I abandoned you because you sounded so confident in yourselves, and I trusted you with that. I did something bad, but I am NOT the one that killed Mixy!"
He stormed after Fangfang.

One-Ear placed a paw on Fangfang's shoulder before he could get too far.
"I know you don't trust me, Fangfang, but hear me out. They weren't your mates, every one of 'em woulld slit yer throat fer a bigger cut. They got what was comin' to 'em, and even if I'm as bad as they are, those Redwallers need your help. Don't do it for me, do it for them."

*****

Mortembell easily disarmed Begskin and had her blade at his throat in an instant.
"You ain't goin' nowhere, stoat. Sleep tight."
She grabbed his head and smashed it into the table.
"Ava, we got ourselves a hostage."

OOC-
Oops, missed your post Sandpaw! Sorry!
IC-
Fangfang was quiet for a while, as if he was giving One-Ear the silent treatment.
Then the rat glanced over his shoulder to look at him and bit his lip.
"I don't agree but I'll go t' help Redwall," he said after a while.

--

Rapshade hurried outside with the crew at his heels, elbowing Saltooth roughly when the rat caught up with them. "It's not cowardice, it's poison, cottonbrain!" He snapped, doing an awkward hop-skip to keep his injured leg off the ground.
The ferret coughed. "I don't want t' die so we've gotta get there fast. Vadoma knows how t' deal with poison...C'mon."

Groddil

One-Ear smiled.
"Thank you, Fangfang. We need to go see Duncan again."
The young fox walked back into the slave deck.

Ashleg

Fang followed, gazing around warily.
His eyes locked with Duncan's for a moment, but the hare redirected his attention to One-Ear.
He'd been busy getting the remaining slaves free and was helping them on deck.
"I think we're ready to go. Is everything good between you two?"

Fangfang nodded, glancing at One-Ear.

Groddil

One-Ear nodded also.
"We have to hurry, by now I'm sure Rapshade has reached Redwall. We have to make sure he never gets within the Abbey walls."
He glared slightly at Bracklew.
"If I was the same as every other stereotypical vermin, I wouldn't be here helping you and I wouldn't care about your home, would I?"

I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

"Stop arguing and come on," Said Duncan, hurrying the last few slaves up the stairs.

Groddil

OOC: Begskin the random stoat. Sandpaw can control him.

BIC: One-Ear nodded and followed to the deck.
"We need a plan. I suggest Bracklew leads the slaves around the back way and brings them into Redwall through the small wicker gate. Then we get behind Rapshade's forces. We can provide a distraction for anyone inside to trap 'em in a pincer movement."

Ashleg

"What if'n they're already gone?" Fang chimed.
Duncan sighed and glanced at One-Ear as he led the way out of the slave quarters.
"If they've left, he's right, there'll be nobeast to trap. We'll need backups either way...Y'know, more fighting beasts. Us, Ava, and your mother'll swiftly be outnumbered."
Suddenly he whipped around, startled at hearing a voice he recognized.

"Outnumbered, eh? Not with me and my Guosim shrews, you won't!"

Duncan gasped and raced towards the edge of the ship and peered down.
"Log-a-Log Chrysanthe!" He exclaimed. "Wait a minute, we'll be right there!"

Groddil

One-Ear smiled at the figure that saved his life and leapt the gunwhale. He landed in the shallows with a splash.
"Chrysanthe! Look at me, fully healed! I owe you my life, friend, and you are helping me once again!"
The young fox cocked his head.
"Exactly how many Guosim shrews do you have at your back?"

Ashleg

Chrysanthe walked towards One-Ear and patted him on the back, grinning.
"Well that's what friends are for, isn't it? There's a lot, maybe...around fifty-seven," she said, contemplating that.
"The numbers are actually quite low for my standards, but we've gotten ourselves and Redwall out of plenty of scrapes--quality over quantity, that's what I say! So I hear you, Duncan, and Skipper freed the slaves?"
The shrew smirked and looked her dagger over, then glanced up at Duncan, whom was heading down the gangplank after nodding to Skipper, Fang, Bracklew, and the rest to come along.

"Yup, every last one of 'em!" Duncan said, shaking paws with Log-a-Log once he got nearer.
"It's nice to see you again," he said exhaustedly.

Fang followed at the rear and hung around looking awkward at the back of the group, not looking at any one creature for too long.
"What's a Guosim?" He asked at last, glancing feverently at Skipper.
