Redwall Title Change

Ooch.. besides that - Brian has books within the books, so... (i think.. long time no see this book though.. xD) in the Book Martin the warrior, there is -Marshank, and.. the other 2.. xD I need to read that book again.. i miss it... =/

It takes me hours to come up for names of things, and when I do come up with names they aren't necessarily that good. Although Coobreedan was an awesome achievement.

Mariel Of Redwall, I'd abbreviate to Mariel. One word titles are BJ's thing.

I definitely would probably rename 'Pearls of Lutra' into 'Grath Longfletch'

I actually thought Pearls of Lutra was the most original name Brian came up with was named after a place or person. As for Grath,I didn't consider her the main character. It would be like Brian naming Outcast. Veil wasn't even the main character.

What I don't understand is why The Pearls of Lutra is called just that, when in the books the characters call the pearls the "Tears of all Oceans". However, I agree that The Pearls of Lutra is the most inventive of the titles, and probably one of them most inviting.

I like it soooo much better when he doesn't do name titles. However, Mattimeo, Mariel of redwall(Though I didnt agree with that; after all, she's not from Redwall and only is there for a little) and Martin the Warrior and a few others are the exceptions. Because, really, there is almost never, except in the veeery early books, or a few others, one main character. See how much worse these sound.

High Rhulain- Tiria
Redwall- Matthias
Outcast- Bryony, or, Sunflash
Mossflower- cant even think of a good one

Bryony wasn't the main character either in Outcast. Although, I agree, Outcast of Redwall is an inaccurate name. Maybe it could have been named Sixclaw?

I HATE IT when they make the blurbs of Outcast of Redwall all about Veil. He isn't even in half the book!

Outcast of Redwall is okay to me. I know Veil wasn't the main character, and neither was Bryony. But it doesn't bother me. $:-\$

I agree Muse. Using main character names as the titles all the time would seem a bit weird in some cases.
