Well, I'm homeschooled, and for math and English, I do these work-bookish things from Accelerated Christian Education called PACEs. I guess you could look it up for a better explanation. But basically they don't really require me to write essays.

I am homeschooled too, but I have done several essays in my school life. I am also younger than you, but essays are definitely more stressful then they should be. I am using highschool level english and history/geography and they would expect 3+ essays/reports/projects/paragraphs per week (which I am not used to) so my mom just assigns certain things for me to do.
