Cold tea to Banya and @Jet the binturong and anyone else sadly uninformed, is green tea (Or sometimes black) that has sugar in it! In other words, that delicious thing we Southerners drink like water - Sweet (Or unsweet) tea. It ain't exotic, but who cares, it's just as good as that other stuff.

its basically detention, but during school: youre stuck in a room. You cant talk. you cant listen to music. you cant just sit there. you have to be productive. you have to ask to use the restroom. you cant look at the clock. you cant look at your phone.

Its the stupidest thing. me and my bro got sent there after we got caught skipping a class. I think the dumbest part about it is the logic. Oh, you skipped class? Here's your punishment: missing half the day of classes.

For the record, I loved this place's tea variety before they got bought by another place I love. When I see cold tea, it's usually black and sometimes green. But any tea can be chilled and sweetened if you want.

 I'm not a big tea drinker, or a coffee drinker for that matter.

But iced tea is a staple part of southern culture. If you look at a map of the US, the ones with all the little pictures representing each area, the south is almost always depicted with iced tea. Which according to most people is a very good drink. I beg to differ, I'm more of a lemonade fan myself, but to each their own I guess.
