I'm doing good.  (Except VidAngel's been shut down...nooooo... :/)  It's nice to have you back temporarily.

I never expected anything else. The second I saw it's service model, I knew it would get sued out of existence. Still, it was nice while it lasted. My parents bought stock. We'll see how it does at the Supreme Court (Hopefully, a newly conservative Supreme Court).

And while we're speaking of VidAngel, allow me to say: Matt Meese is the best frontman. Ever.

Oh, man, I hope so.  My mom is so particular about what we watch.  I'll probably never be able to see any Marvel movies in their entirety again unless VidAngel is allowed to put their movies back or I turn eighteen.  YouTube clips just ain't the same.

Well, when I made the above post, all I'd seen by them was A Homeschooler at Hogwarts, because Skarzs once messaged it to me a while back.  Now I've seen way more, thanks to Mask.  The best ones are the ones about Property Brothers and The Walking Dead.  Seriously, the Property Brothers one was spot-on. XD

@Grond  Before the whole court injunction that forced them to stop access to their movies, VidAngel had a way better selection of movies than I remember Netflix having.  Pretty much any recent movie you could think of was there.

Anyway, lemme tell you something glorious.  If you can get an IP address-hiding-program for your computer (my family used to use this free thing called ExpatShield, which assigned us a UK IP address), then, with it turned on, you can go to Netflix and get a ton of choices for the country you're supposedly in.  We got to watch all kinds of stuff they had for the UK but not US, like the first two Hobbit movies (which is how my Middle-earth obsession started).


On a random note, I saw The Martian on VidAngel with all the language censored.  I loved a lot of things about it, like the Lord of the Rings reference, the fact that Sebastian Stan (aka Bucky Barnes) was in it and they made a reference to his role as Bucky and later said something about Iron Man, and the fact that my Overlord's Orders husband was in it.

I know they don't have a proper distribution license, like, say, Redbox does, but not through lack of trying.  They've tried various things over the years, like a Google plugin/app, I'm pretty sure, but that was shut down by the studios.  And if I recall correctly, the studios recommended recently that VidAngel should go back to that app, even though they'd shut it down!  What the hey?
