You can vacuum floors that aren't carpet, you just need a certain type of vacuum, I'm pretty sure that there are vacuums that do both.

You can vacuum floors that aren't carpet, you just need a certain type of vacuum, I'm pretty sure that there are vacuums that do both.

Why would you sweep carpet?!

I've done it before. Sometimes, you don't like/don't feel like vacuuming. Other times, you've just got a nice trail of whatever that really isn't worth bringing out the vacuum.
