What'd you get?

I got two xbox games: Titanfall and Rise of the Tomb Raider. And lots of books - including the Long Patrol! Star Wars t-shirt, MARVEl t-shirt. Yup. I don't know what to do first. Finish the first TR game so I can play the second? Enjoy Battlefront? Anyway....

Hm, well I got some super sour candy, and some new boxing gloves, and a new punching bag. (I can't use my little brother anymore. JK) A study guide book for the ASVAB test, a new electric razor (Thank goodness), and a few other little things like batteries and such.

That's about it.

Adele's 21. (SO! HAPPY!) Leg warmers (Or are they arm warmers? I can't tell :P) Drawing stuff (A book on how to draw manga animals, a big thing of markers, a drawing pad, and an adult coloring book - I think my grandmother mixed me and my sister up :P But I like drawing too, so we're all good.) Three pairs of tie dye leggings (Blue, purple, and black/white), a short neon pink shirt that says 'New York City Ballet' on it, and a purple tank top with the same, and, the best thing of all - The leotard I've been wanting for forever! Really happy about that. (And hey, I won't look quite so much like like nerdy girl at dance anymore. *Evil grin*) a Complete Pilates kit - It has those stretchy bands! YAY! The Princess Bride (Book & movie, yays), a laptop battery (In all honesty I thought it was something completely different when it was wrapped. It was a bit of a let down, but my old laptop battery was awful so it's cool.) and a toe scrunchy thingy. Also the boxed set of 'A Song of Ice and Fire' and I got another pair of ballet shoes. Even though I just moved into my 4.5s because I tore up my 4s completely last week.

Overall, mostly dance stuff. Which is awesome. (The sad thing? My grandparents and sisters gave my mom money to find something I would like for Christmas.) I didn't get a few books I was hoping for, but meh. I've waited this long, I can wait until April or next Christmas. Or for the library.

And this is really long and I'm half embarrassed. This sounds like like a lot more than it actually is.

Let's see... My biggest present was a new composite bow for my violin, which I really needed as the bow that came with my violin was warped. I also got a $20 steam gift card, some very nice Pilot pens and mechanical pencils, a new dress shirt (I tend to go through a couple a week), a solo mute for my violin, a year's subscription to Reader's Digest (my sister got it for me, but I think she just wants the jokes), and a shirt with a Stormtrooper riding a snowmobile.

Oh, and also a Princess Leia button that either calls you a stuck up, half-witted, scruffy looking nerf herder when you press it or says "I'd just as soon kiss a wookie!"

Nay. I think it's just that they spend a lot of money on my brother and they feel like I should get just as much. To be fair though, books are generally far more expensive in America than in the UK, and not just in terms of currency differences.

The Skarzs

Unfortunately it wouldn't be cheaper to order books through UK and have them shipped here. . . Country-to-country shipping isn't cheap.

I got:
A toss-around flatcap that I will use for everything.
A comic strip book.
An electrice razor from my sisters. (Do I sense a hint of something, Peri?)
Grinding wheels for my grinder.
Cutting wheels for my grinder.
Two pairs of pants.
One sweater vest.
A jar of chocolate hazelnut spread that is not Nutella but is just as good; one and a half pounds' worth.
Dust mask filters. ( :P )
And a chocolate bar to replace the one my sister ate.
Cave of Skarzs

Cave potato.

@Jet: Oh

Thank you for asking, Sand! Nothing so far, but that's because my parents (wisely) ask for my preference, and I just haven't chosen. Besides a piccolo, which is out of price range, there's nothing I want. I'll probably ask for sheet music for Jules Mouquet's La Flute de Pan. ;D

^^ You know you can print that up for free on the IMSLP, right? Since its copyright is expired, it's public domain.

Oh, and for my b-day I got the full Kane Chronicles set.

You all made a hauling. :)
My family makes a big deal out of Christmas.  Some of the most exciting presents from my parents and my mom's side of the family include:
really nice over-the-head headphones
new graphite pencils
fine-point markers in every colour
some miscellaneous kitchen things for my apartment, which will please my roommates
a hair straightener
a business suit skirt with a nice top
a Captain America t-shirt and Marvel sweatpants
Peter Pan-esque ankle boots

I'm glad that everyone seemed to like their presents from me.  I bought my dad a set of tea strainers so that he can drink the loose-leaf Turkish tea I brought back for him from Istanbul.

Tomorrow I have Christmas with my dad's side of the family, so it's happening all over again. :D

Oh, you got MARVEL stuff too? I got a SHIELD shirt. For the helicarrier maintenance crew. So I can cosplay. Heh.

Those are cool gifts, you guys! ;D (And is it seriously normal to get that many things for Christmas? Wow! ;D)

Haha Wylder, I already knew that, but thank you! It's appreciated ;D I have photocopies, but I'd like the original, because... it's my favorite flute solo :P
